Fantastic little hotel. Thai food served in the evening (British pub grub available at the Talbot next door). The family room was cosy, clean and had everything we needed. The full English breakfast was amazing. Well cooked, huge and no compromises on quality. Catered incredibly well for my vegan daughter with a choice of two different vegan milks and vegan spread as well as the main dish. Super friendly staff as well.

We stayed at the bridge house hotel for 3 nights. Perfect location for alton towers, 5 min drive. Benny welcomed us in and was super friendly. Breakfast is not included but can request on arrival and it's lovely, kept us full all day. We ate in the talbot which was really good, also ate bennys Thai which was delicious and huge portions. The room was not very big but it was no problem and felt cosy and warm. There are larger rooms available. Lovely stay really enjoyed it

We stayed here while visiting Alton Towers and couldn’t have picked a better spot. The location is stunning and the host, Benny, was so welcoming – even kindly waiting up for us as we arrived late. Breakfast isn’t included, but the full English was well worth it and very reasonably priced. The service was so good that we decided to come back for dinner after our day at Alton Towers — and I’m so glad we did. The Thai food was honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. Benny is a wonderful host and this place is a real hidden gem. If you haven’t been yet, you absolutely should — you won’t be disappointed!

In a beautiful setting, next to a river with plenty of outside seating. Quirky little staircase up to rooms. Rooms were very clean and had a lovely bathroom with great shower. Bed was only a double and we are used to a super king so too small for us. Mattress had a dip at one side. Dinner is Thai menu and food was fantastic, big portions. Breakfast was lovely, cooked fresh to order, hot and tasty.

Very delicious, authentic Thai food set in a beautiful pub-like setting (if you're looking for pub food, that would be at the Talbot pub next door). The food appealed to both first timers and fans of Thai food. Service was exceptional, and they were dog-friendly. Couldn't have asked for a better dining experience.

Used the restaurant. Lovely setting, really friendly staff and absolutely gorgeous food. Nice little country pub / restaurant feel, really clean. So helpful with food intolerances too with gluten free (soft!) buns and gluten free batter for the lovely crispy onion rings! Burgers were really juicy too! Found by accident after leaving Alton Towers, but will be going back there next time!

We booked in advance but our table had gone for some reason. Had to sit in the bar next door. However, food was fantastic. Really fresh and the taste was spot on. Kids had chicken nuggets and chips. We had 2 burgers. Absolutely perfect. Full of flavour and worth every penny. Portions were huge. Only a 4/5 because of the table situ and the fact we had to order dessert from the hatch outside. Dessert from the hatch was again great value for money. Great option if staying at Alton Towers!

Wonderful food in a beautiful quant little restaurant!! We dined here for my nieces 21st birthday, it was a last minute reservation for 6 of us… The staff were very attentive, polite and professional… the food was amazing, not one complaint from any of us… We loved the traditional style with modern twist.. Will definitely visit again when we’re in the area… Thank you so much guys for a wonderful meal ❤️

We were amazed at how beautiful the grounds were at this pub/restaurant. It's hard to see when passing by as it's quite well hidden down a 'valley' type. Once we got car parked we walked down by the stream and through the garden. Lovely. Food was fantastic too, the only reason we gave a 4 not a 5, was because the main course took longer than we'd like & my partner's burger was a little dry. Other than this, we enjoyed it very much. Clean and bespoke interior. Recommend to those visiting Alton Towers and if you're generally passing by. We will be going again.
