Visiting Whitchurch for the first time we tried to book in advance but was fully booked. On the evening we arrived we were called and advised that they’d had a cancellation and could fit us in . What a treat , fabulous food, wine and service , highly recommended, but to be sure, book well in advance!
Such a lovely restaurant. Really tasty food, helpful staff and lovely atmosphere. We phoned up as we have two dogs, they were allowed in which was great. The menu has good vegetarian options plus the staff explained they could also adjust different dishes to be veggie. The Tortelloni alla Ciociara was my favourite!
We have visited that place on my birthday, I was expecting that pizza will taste like proper Italian one but it was not. It wasn’t nothing special, the same like starters - expensive but not worthy. I have ordered salad with chicken, bacon and chorizo - that was nice, chicken was soft, nothing to complain about. I though I will spend there nice time but after 45 minutes, they have served starters and main dish - I did not have time to enjoyed my birthday. I had feeling that table was reserved straight after our booking and I had felt that we have to eat as quickly as possible and leave. Don’t get me wrong, that restaurant is good but in my opinion is overrated and expensive.
We went for valentines day last week and had a fantastic meal! We both had two courses for £12.95 (I think) and it was delicious I was just sorry I couldn't eat it all! Great atmosphere with a roaring fire and friendly staff. Even on such a busy day we didn't feel rushed and had time to relax and enjoy our meal.
1st visit & impressed. Lived up to all expectations. Relaxed atmosphere. Friendly staff, made to feel welcome. The food was excellent, fresh & very tasty. Will be going back.
Wow is all I can say, we popped in on the off chance they may have a table last night, the lovely owner found us outside and ushered us in,found us a table. The food was amazing, atmosphere and service 1st class. Perfect place to celebrate our wedding Anniversary.Thank you for a wonderful evening x
I was taken here a couple of weeks ago by my niece, who had come across this wonderful little Italian previously. I honestly cannot speak highly enough of the place, the staff were fantastic, so warm and welcoming, and the food was quite frankly the best I've had for a very long time! Everything was fresh, cooked from scratch and delicious, and it was incredibly reasonable too! I wouldn't hesitate to go back, and will highly recommend to anyone!!
