We ordered delivery and it took over an hour to come as the driver got lost. He gave us an extra pizza however completely forgot our large cheesy chips. My daughter was in tears as that was her tea you carelessly forgot. Nice food but extremely bad service
Just ordered the Mega Burger from Italian express and not impressed. No cheese was on the burger I then found it it was 30p per slice of cheese which would have needed 3 slices, the lettuce is slimy and couldn’t even try to eat it. I phoned up to complain and was just told the” lettuce is made fresh everyday “ which definitely is not the case but no solution was made
Placed an online order this evening. We have had many takeaways from Italian Express and they've always been excellent. However, tonight after an hour, our order still hadn't arrived. We rang to find out if it was on it's way and was told the driver had 5 deliveries and he'd be another 10 minutes maximum. After another 15 minutes I rang again and was told he shouldn't be long. I told him I was concerned the food would be cold and I was told I could cancel the order. At that point, the doorbell rang so I told the man on the phone that I'd check to see if it was warm. It was barely warm and certainly not what you'd want from a meal. Based on the fact that I'd been told I could cancel, I refused the order based on the temperature. A few minutes later the man from the takeaway rang me and started shouting that the food was fine. I passed the phone to my husband who explained that we'd always had good food in the past but this time it was cold. The man continued to shout and says he'll never deliver to us again. This is an awful way to handle the situation. We'd have happily ordered again in the future as we know this is not the usual standard. The way that we were spoke to is not professional or acceptable. It's not too much to ask for warm food and polite service.
How disappointing ..I will not order & waste my money here again ... cheesy chips ? Who ordered them? I didn't..the burger was like cardboard & bun was soaking wet .. on the upside my partner kebab was OK but not what we ordered Disappointed!!!
ordered food for collection and as i went to pick it up they had closed and lost £36 haven’t had the money sent back when they said it closes at 10pm
Honestly, fed up up with Italian express. On five plus occasions they have accepted the order and then a few minutes later cancelled due to 'delivery drivers becoming unavailable' what a joke. I've had the food before elsewhere and it was okay but the terrible customer service ruins it.
Ordered food when they were open, hrs later they closed and still didn’t deliver food… joke of a kebab shop, should be closed !!!
Wish I could give more stars, This place is the best. The pizzas are by far the best I've ever Had! The staff go above and beyond and deliveries are fast , food arrives hot and the food is amazing. I LOVE THIS PLACE.The boss goes out of his way for every customer.
Date 28/12/21. Order arrived late as driver went to wrong village and when arrived was cold. Upon eating the cold food we noticed the burgers we ordered was all burnt black like charcoal and so was the buns. Salad had gone off to and was brown with rot. Absolutely awful. Will not be ordering from again. Oh and on another note I tried to complain to the chat but that does not work and just repeats a first question.
