Regular visitor to Hay Barn and as always the food, service and atmosphere was excellent. All food freshly cooked and served was delicious. During busy periods might be a wait for a table but the pager system works well. The special event evenings are always worth attending. Employees are always welcoming even when the place is extremely busy.

Popped in here after recommendations. The Hay Barn Cafe did not disappoint, the food is delicious and well priced with plenty to choose from. I pigged out and got the Giant Haystack Breakfast which certainly was giant. 3 bacon, 2 sausage, 2 eggs, beans, tomato, potatoes, mushrooms, black pudding and toast The bacon was cut thicker which I really like and the black pudding was fantastic too which shows they are using quality ingredients Will definitely pass on the recommendation and try and pop in again in the future Whilst we were seated immediately, it is a small place and a few people arriving did have to wait a short while to be seated but the food arrived quickly once ordered

On my holiday, I visited here. Parking was easy, with a unique grass-covered lot. The choice between outdoor and indoor seating made it easy to enjoy the atmosphere. The garden is full of beautiful flowers, adding to the relaxation. The food was freshly cooked, the coffee was on the mild side, but the menu mentioned it clearly, Service was straightforward, and everything arrived exactly as described in the menu. Prices were fair, making it a lovely enjoy peaceful meal.

The service is lovely here but the wait for the famous breakfast was not worth it imo, it was just basic & overhyped but not unenjoyable as it was nice. The scones on the other hand are absolutely amazing. The best I've ever tasted especially the vanilla one. Would deffo order a scone from here again next time I'm in the area.

Regularly come here for brunch and cake, always excellent across the board. Can be a wait for a table because it's so popular, which speaks for itself, but is absolutely worth the wait every time. Recently ordered a whole cake for a birthday, looked and tasted fantastic and unbelievably good price.

Drove past this establishment quite by accident, it looked inviting so I turned around and parked up. As they were very busy, we were handed a buzzer that vibrates when a table is free, which I thought was handy. We sat at a window seat overlooking the road. There were also blankets on the backs of the chairs to keep yourself warm. The food was delivered in good time and was delicious! The staff were very attentive and pleasant. I'll definitely revisit the next time I'm passing.

First time visit after being recommended it by a friend. Had a light lunch, simple but very nice toastie. Then saw some cake served to a nearby table and decided I had to have some myself. Wow one of the best cakes I’ve ever had! I think there will be a return visit or two….

Enjoyed a nice drive out to have something to eat. First time of visiting the Hay Barn Cafe but had driven past on numerous occasions and thought how nice it looked. Pleasant and helpful staff, good range of food and drink that was well prepared and very tasty. The breakfast was spot on.We had an outside table and enjoyed the sunshine. Would highly recommend and we will be back at some point.

Excellent! Delicious cake and reasonably priced. The Victoria Sponge was possibly the very best I'd ever had! as light and fluffy as a cloud with a superb filling and the added treat of strawberries and cream on the side
