    My wife and I had the Steak and Lobster Sharer Platter and it was amazing. We eat here regularly and never have a bad word to say about the place, however…..this meal was particularly brilliant. Add to that the great service, friendly atmosphere, lovely staff and fair prices, the Brew Shed is a great place to visit.

    Met with our friends here as the reviews were good! Service was great but the food was shocking. I would go all out to say one of the worst meals I have seen. I had steak with sauteed potatos which was ok. But the rest was shocking. The Chips had been cooked that many times they were bitter and sour as in the fat was spent! My husband is an avid chip person and he couldn't face eating them the 4 year old grandson said Yak grandma again everything covered in rock salt and burnt, his child burger was a smattering of burnt mince on the bun. We complained and the female member of staff was rude and abrupt to my friend who suffered a panic attack due to being told. I've served these all day and no one else has complained. We left the majority of the food. Me being the only one able to eat my meal when the other 4 said it's the worst meal ever. Avoid at all costs if you don't want to waste money on poor quality food

    The Brew shed has an amazing atmosphere. The staff are always super friendly. The food is always spot on. It's dog friendly. I love this place! The drinks are always spot on. They made me a Mocktail last night when I didn't fancy an alcoholic drink. This was made all fancy and I really appreciated the effort the bartender put into it. They really do go the extra mile in here.

    Nice location by the canal. Amazing burgers! I went for their classic with bacon & cheese. A word of warning...I wouldn't recommend it for a first date; unless your partner will enjoy watching you attempt to eat a burger half the size of your head, with fatty juice and ketchup running down your chin! Otherwise, totally recommended!

    We arrived here in the early evening, without a booking & they still went out of their way to accommodate our slightly larger party. They were attentive, polite & friendly. On top of that, the food was lovely... I highly recommend this venue.

    Fantastic micro brewery on the edge of Retford town and the garden over looks the canal. Dogs welcome. Loyalty card and with some cracking ales, the card will soon be full. Food served although we did not eat. Certainly intend to return.
