Underrated place, went it to play pool, welcomed in, beer is cheap and pool was cheap, what more could you want.
Great place for a John smiths. Rather quiet but it was mid week, Beer was really good and at a decent price for the area
Do not ever start a tab at this place as they will over charge you. The landlord and door staff are very inviting and polite but some of the bar staff are rude and clearly don't want to be there. This is definitely not a child friendly place the staff make a point of telling parents children need to be out by 6pm and not in a nice way. If it wasn't for the landlord I'd not be going here again.

To loud music.and undesirables get in there needs more control.
Had a great night staff were friendly and the Band,The Genie Lamps are a must to see very entertaining a great night was had by all big thanks to all for this night
Great bar, mixed crowd of all ages, great entertainment, kebab shop next door. What more could you ask for?
Now the seats have been refurbished it is better as was disgusting. It's an ok place gets very rowdy and full of young people. Bar is in the wrong position... Blocks entrance to anyone trying to get in and not big enough to cope with customers.
