   This place was great but has really gone downhill. Food seems cross contaminated, I’ve tasted chicken which tastes fishy so it’s being fried in the same oil. Portions are smaller than before and prices have been doubled. Also raw chicken is a risk here and you could end up with food poisoning. Do not recommend.

   I’ve had undercooked chicken twice now. First time I wasn’t sure what it was from but had my suspicions but today confirmed that. I got refund but the manager (assuming) was being difficult. He was picking at my food to show me it was cooked, pointing out that there was no blood remaining. My problem here is that “blood” (myoglobin) is a good indicator to tell if chicken is raw or not but so is slightly pink chicken with red veins like in this instance. upon realising it was actually undercooked the person (manager?) admitted that i was right and claimed “a little bit isn’t bad” which left me shocked and extremely confused how such a person can be working in a fast food shop and not understand how much of an issue this is.

   me and my girlfriend went to get some food after our university lecture and our experience was awful. i had asked for the katsu prawn bowl and the lady serving me didn’t even give me a chance to say that i wanted it with noodles before she went off and put rice in it with the sauce. i’m a very anxious person so i didn’t say anything at the time, but when i was eating it, the rice seemed overcooked and was clumping together and just not very nice overall. my girlfriend then went back in to ask if they could remake it as we were unsatisfied with it and because i didn’t receive what i wanted (because the lady didn’t let me ask for it with noodles). as soon as my girlfriend said that to the lady, she was rude and unfriendly. she said that she didn’t serve me and that we were just saying all of this to “scam” them. she reluctantly remade it for me but was very very rude. when my girlfriend came back to me (in the outside seating on the street) the woman came and stood outside the shop and stared at us for a solid 5 minutes. the lack of customer service skills is shocking. i will not be returning.

   ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4/5 – Tasty, Quick, and Reliable Kokoro is a great go-to spot when you’re craving something warm, filling, and fast. The sweet and sour chicken is consistently good, tender, and served with just the right amount of sauce. The portion sizes are generous, and the prices are reasonable for central locations. Service is usually quick, even during the lunch rush, though seating can get a bit cramped at peak times. Staff are polite and efficient, but it can sometimes feel a little rushed. Overall, it’s a solid choice for a quick meal that doesn’t compromise on taste. Would definitely return – especially for the sushi or the spicy udon!

   I always feel as if I am inconveniencing them by asking to buy something. The sushi is great, the sweet chilli chicken is lush . The rice is over cooked and has no seasoning. Its expensive . I spent £35 and she still charged me 20p for soy sauce on top. I get everything has a cost but a smile is free, and she was not handing those over for even £35

   The chicken katsu curry is the best I’ve had and the portion is pretty big too. I also like the fried pumpkin. Sweet and savoury at the same time. Give it a try!!

   It used to be my once-a-week however the quality of food collapse in recent year. The rice in hot meal was always overcook, less of texture. The Salmon over nigiri is in poor quality. Only the fried chicken is still within the standard.

   The Sweet Chilli Chicken was so good with fresh well cooked rice. But the Beef Bulgogi was really bad.
