   I ordered after reading many positive reviews and was really looking forward to trying the sushi. Unfortunately, my experience didn’t quite live up to the hype. I ordered four rolls. We waited 30 minutes for our order, which would have been totally fine if the food had arrived fresh. However, the prawn katsu roll was cold and wasn’t crispy, and it didn’t taste particularly fresh—which was disappointing, especially after the wait. The biggest letdown for me was the tuna roll as the tuna was spoilt. The texture was very slimy and the colour looked off—more of a brownish-grey than the usual vibrant red—so we couldn’t bring ourselves to eat it. The salmon roll had a decent flavor, but the texture of the salmon was firmer than expected. On a positive note, the service was very friendly. Overall, while I really wanted to like this place, the quality of the food just didn’t meet my expectations.

   What a lovely restaurant. Solid Japanese food with appropriately delicate flavours. Neither too intense nor too bland. Everything was just … nice. Plenty of street parking nearby. Service is solid.

   ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Outstanding Sushi Experience – Worth the Trip! I can’t recommend this place enough! I especially traveled to come here, and it was absolutely worth every mile. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and made sure we had a fantastic dining experience. Now, let’s talk about the food—WOW. Every bite was perfection! The sushi was fresh, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. The crispy tempura roll had the perfect balance of crunch, creamy sauces, and delicate seasoning. The sashimi and nigiri were melt-in-your-mouth delicious, showcasing the highest quality fish. Beyond the food, the attention to detail in both presentation and service made this a truly top-tier experience. If you’re a sushi lover, trust me—it’s worth making a trip for. I will definitely be coming back! Thank you!!!

   Such good sushi from sushi hero! Linda was ever so accommodating to us - we didn’t book and the restaurant is only small so I would recommend booking if you want a table, we just got lucky as Linda was super helpful. Portions of sushi rolls are huge and tasted amazing - so glad I don’t need to trek all the way into London for good sushi anymore, will definitely be back!

   The place is gorgeous, I cannot express enough how great it was! Food was delicious and beautifully presented. Also all the staff were excellent. There was such a variety of option including, Sushi, Tempura, Sashimi, Yakitori, Udon & so much more. We were left stuffed and satisfied at the end. A special place for a special occasion.we will definitely be returning:)

   Welcoming hot tea with beautiful flower was absolutely pleasure to start dining. All plates were displayed gorgeous and the taste is even better. I am a serious sashimi & sushi fan and haven’t had much places like Sushi Hero in London where providing this high quality of tuna sashimi as you can tell by freshness. It just melt in your mouth. Other hot dishes were omg level of its taste!!!! Staff were so warm & friendly thank you and I am definitely visiting again soon!

   What a wonderful little restaurant! Despite having very high expectations due to all the great reviews, my family and I were still surprised at how great this place was. The sashimi pieces were lovely and thick, their signature rolls were delicious but our favourite was the udon (unfortunately not pictured as we were too busy slurping it up!)- the noodles were cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend this place for the delicious food and the lovely attentive staff!
