   The supermarket is cheap enough for everyday items. But the staff particularly on the self checkouts appear very unhappy. Although they probably deal with some difficult custom the deep sighs and lack of smiling doesn't help. Just an observation.

   Be very careful here they are selling out of date food. Went on 30th and foods on the shelves had use by dates for 27th and not best before use by.

   Wouldn't buy my Easter eggs from anywhere else,staff friendly and helpful,clean store and relaxed atmosphere,self checkouts as well as tills so no waiting,4 eggs one free from all for less than £15 bargain

   Absolutely terrible experience with the cashier..obnoxious and arrogant. Wouldn't even get me the store manager when requested..said he will only tell you the same. Will not set foot in the store again. Rude cashier, wish I knew her name, I'd publicly shame her. WOULDNT accept payment part card part cash! Explained other stores allow it..Well they shouldn't was her answer. The customer in front of us felt so sorry for her, the cashier wouldn't accept her healthy start payment ..telling her everything that was under healthy start had to be s separate transaction..wanting her to void the transaction. And start again ! No.. not for me this store

   Went in today and after getting what I needed, I realised I'd not gotten batteries. I popped onto an empty line and the long-haired young guy on the checkout made it very obvious that I was an inconvenience - making him ring my items through. He never even looked at me, and never a single please or thank you. A chap who followed me through the same checkout said "This job obviously doesn't suit him". I could have gone to Morrisons - as I'd usually do - but I know they have some unusual middle aisle stuff from time to time, so I wanted to have a look. I will not be giving them another £87 in a hurry. If you can't be bothered with basic courtesy, don't work with members of the public.

   Usually shopping at Aldi is very good, but I have noticed over the past few weeks that stock levels have become very poor especially biscuits and sweets. But as usual the final price at the tills is very pleasing. Aldi still knocks the socks of off the major supermarkets.

   Haven't been in a while but thought we'd give it a go again, got a trolley full of food Inc joint of pork, mince, couple of bottles of wine for £100 still a lot but a lot of meals/treats for a family of 5 it would have been at least double that at Asda. You've won us back again.. If only I could scan it myself, I'd be in heaven :)
