Never again, I use this shop regularly as the staff are nice and it's convenient. But those self service conveyer belt tills are awful, you put all your goods through and then have to stand as long packing, they take twice the time of a normal till, I bet whoever thought of those had never used them, shocking concept.
Good selection and friendly staff. Only complaint is the Cafe prices make you feel like you're being robbed and the quality of the food and coffee is just nothing to praise. If it was cheaper then it'd be more acceptable. Carpark is dodgy at night, homeless and people trying to flog you lifted items.
The store overall is good and has good variety of products and friendly enough staff. The reason for my 1-star is an unpleasant experience when I went to their pharmacy and asked for a medicine sharing my medical condition. They recommended a syrup that made my condition worse. When I looked at the small font on the medicine, it clearly stated that it is not supposed to be taken in that medical condition. When I contacted them, they did not pay much attention and said their manager would get back. Many months and many emails later, I am still waiting.
Great for most of your daily or weekly grocery shopping. Clean and tidy shop. Pleasant staff who will gladly help if you are disabled or old and need a helping hand.
I would say the non food side of the store is the best part of the store with high availability pricing is a bit of an issue though in this store alot of clothing says sale but is still full price. Ambient food availability is usually pretty poor and the fmcg departments have ample variety of stock. The frozen section is always empty. Never visited the cafe due to its pricing. Overall avoid store petrol station onside too
Always fast service, they seem to cope really well even when its really busy. Its rare anything is out of stock and the selection available is incredible, if you need it this store most likely has what you're after. Staff are always eager to help and very pleasant.
Used this store to do some Christmas shopping gifts etc, the guy on the checkout was very ignorant wasn't polite at all he didn't add my club card points spent almost £200 didn't offer to help pack my bags just wanted me gone. I walked through the security barriers and the alarm went off so went to the security desk and explained that maybe a security tag had been left on the security guy said there was no tags I'd shown him my receipt and he let me go the alarms went off again. I got home and hung 2 items of clothing up these are gifts, both had security tags on discovered this a few weeks later and I've lost the receipt, my own fault for trusting two staff members.
A nice modern tesco. This tesco is a good size and has self checkout and none self checkout. It has a big parking area underneath it for customers. This tesco also has a clothing and household area on top of food. The one thing I'd change is all self checkout being both card and cash.
