Absolutely love going here. We have a laugh, staff is very friendly and the food is gorgeous. Great selection available and everything is very nice and clean
No… I had to think a few times once I’ve been seated if I / we really wanted to stay and start ordering. The girl who seated us was ok-ish… coughed without stop… she and 2 other staff members been around to ask if everything was okay. Robots: I expected something extraordinary about it… was a huge disappointment. Yea, they’ve carried out the food - and that’s all! Food… RUBBISH! Stone cold everything. Over spiced and over salted. That’s all. Yes, COLD food. Tried a few different dishes, none of them reached that level I expected. Price… the evening meal is very expensive. My partner had his birthday. He got a code what is supposed to entitle him to have free food. Of course, it is not available within 24 hrs. Normally people go out randomly, not planning ahead for days or weeks. So, it was another disappointment. Only food I enjoyed the waffles. That’s all. That doesn’t worth that much. Spacious restaurant, was relatively busy. The robots doing their jobs so no need to leave the table unless someone needs to go to the restroom. Kids running all around, coughing, sneezing (on the food what you ordered on their way to the table by the robots - kids are all bout the robots, so your food is not safe!) I don’t know.. I wouldn’t go back there. Consider it yourself Good location in the busy St Helens town centre.
Loved the robot waiter experience and the food was delicious. The manager was so friendly. Great value and we can't wait to go back.
Fantastic food great staff £28 each for as many courses as we could manage and got delivered by a robot which was a cool feature. Seated straight away and each course took under 15minutes to come. First time coming and won’t be the last it’s a place to really check out. You can park in the range carpark for free for up to 2 hours which is what we did and it’s only a 3minute walk to then get there.
You have to download a app on your phone to order. 6 items at a time so just order 6 items straight after as the potion sizes are little and if there is a few of use it'll take a while for all of use to get your food if you wait. My boy loved the robot. The robot delivers all your food. Desserts are included in the price. It's more expensive of a weekend. Would of been £58 for the 3 of us to eat with two drinks but we had a 2 for 1 voucher.
Brilliant idea, the food is delicious, quick service made even more prompt by the robots. Great drinks offers too, well worth the price!
The staff are lovely; very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Food is, as ever, gorgeous. But it is now all you can eat table service with robots bringing out the orders. This is a novelty, and it is pretty efficient, but there are two shortcomings that I could tell. First, the portion sizes are now 'small plates', and you can order only 6 things at a time. This is a minor complaint, but you now have little control over, for example, if you'd like more rice than curry. You just get a portion of each. Second, the robot format relies upon people being honest, and people are not honest. I saw at least two couples taking other people's food, and one guy completely empty all of the shelves on the robot! Obviously you don't lose money if someone does this, but it is very inconvenient and means that you must reorder and wait another 15 minutes for a new delivery. Not great. Aside from these, I had a lovely meal and was very satisfied with the trip. I would recommend this place, but keep your wits about you.
Our first family visit to St Helens and we were very impressed. An awesome restaurant with a grand entrance led us to some stunning Chinese food and clever robot technology. Taking the loved buffet and adding an ordering process through an app, with robot servers meant fully socially distanced buffet. Best of both worlds! Definitely will be back
We had such a great time and the food was amazing! We couldn't believe it when a robot came bringing us our food such a different experience, the world of technology! Highly recommend
Really nice place and friendly staff, definitely better than many others. Been here for Sat lunch (8.99). Every dish tasted great, well prepared. The only - and main problem for me - was: very poor selection for vegetarians, very poor. Even no fish, not a piece of seafood available. 3* +1 if more vegetable dishes available +1 if some seafood available
