   The food is delicious but I just witnessed staff use a utensil on the chicken and then the pumpkin katsu which is advertised as vegan. They went to cut both into slices with the same pair of scissors. This could trigger an allergy for some and is certainly not ok for anyone veggie. Sadly I won’t be returning as I’m not sure the staff member understood the problem when I stopped them

   Second time visiting this branch and the staff are always very patient and polite! The food is delicious, big portions too!! I got the sweet chilli chicken & spicy chicken with the steamed rice - delicious!

   I like eating at kokoro, this time we experienced eating in with my family, did not enjoyed it as the door was open on a very cold day, we were cold, could not have a cup to drink from, if you are sharing a bottle of drinks you will have to drink directly from it. Definitely not a family dining in place. I will continue buying from that store but only take aways.

   Get the sweet chilli chicken - it packs a nice peppery kick. you can smell it as soon as you step into the shop. On another visit i tried their chicken katsu curry - this is a must-try., lovely fruity /chilli flavours, curry with a Japanese twist! The chicken is nice and crispy and goes well with the sauce. Reasonable prices for the amount of food you get. They do pack out the container, which is rare for a takeaway. Lovely flavours, lots to choose from, also veg options available, Cramped interior, Not ideal for dining in but they do have some seating outside. Sadly, no toilets.. So glad that they're in this part of the High Street!

   I had the Sweet and Sour chicken with noodles for lunch. It was OK, but I don’t think I’d return. Not a very strong S&S flavour, like a Chinese takeaway style, and the chicken did seem to be mostly leg/thigh.

   As a local customer i love to come here, its lovely atmosphere, excellent service, fresh sushi. I will definitely come back more often! I think they don’t have any wifi at the moment but its not a big problem for me.
