   I visited this restaurant yesterday for a friend’s birthday, and every dish we ordered was incredibly delicious. The atmosphere was lovely, and the plating was especially impressive—beautifully presented like a high-end restaurant. Each dish had sauces that were fresh, creative, and unlike anything I’ve tasted before. Despite being a local restaurant, the quality and flavors were outstanding, easily comparable to those of well-known establishments. It was a truly special and memorable experience, and I genuinely felt like recommending it to my friends. I also heard that the ownership changed about a year ago. The previous name was Osaka, and it used to specialize in Japanese cuisine. Additionally, the staff member who served us in the dining area was extremely kind. I regret not asking for their name—they really added to the overall experience.

   One of the best restaurants in the area with great service and amazing food. The wagyu udon is a must try, and the pork ribs starter is excellent. For dessert, the pancake with ice cream is perfect, and their iced yuzu tea is the best I’ve had. Always leaves me happy and satisfied! :) Recommended!

   We had an absolutely wonderful lunch here. The food is authentic, great sized portions for the price, and very moreish. The bento box at lunchtimes is especially great value and truly delicious. The staff / owners are so friendly and the service is quick. The chef is super talented and the plates all looked beautiful. We won't hesitate to come back again soon.

   A Hidden Gem That Truly Delivers! We’d walked past Megumi a few times, and it had always been on our list of places to try—especially since I'm from London and was curious to see how it would compare. Safe to say, it absolutely did not disappoint. The fish was some of the freshest I’ve had in a long time, and the sashimi was simply superb. We also tried the 8-piece Red Eye sushi rolls, which were incredibly unique and packed with flavour—definitely a standout dish! The staff were warm, welcoming, and gave us some fantastic recommendations that really elevated the experience. We’ll certainly be coming back without a doubt. Highly recommend Megumi if you're looking for quality sushi and exceptional service.

   Lovely! The booking process was easy, the restaurant lively but not too busy, nice decor throughout, clean. The food was great and the lady who served us was polite, nice and knowledgeable. We never felt rushed out, and they even got me a little treat as it was my birthday! I will definitely come back and recommend. If I can make a small suggestion, it would help to see the prices on the menu x
