Really good value for money. The sushi was fresh and tasty. The staff were really pleasant and helpful despite us being typical brits where our Spanish doesn’t extend much past hello, thankyou and beer. Will definitely be returning on our next visit to Santander. Gracias!
I have eaten her a lot and would class it as one of my favourite restaurants but today I went in with my 5 year old daughter and was told there was space, we waiting to be seated. Another lady then came up and told us there was no room. Visibly empty seats (she said they were reserved) people behind me had no booked either. I rang and asked if we could book and was told they had availability and to come down. Clearly they had decided that they could make more money from two adults rather than an adult and a child. As a business owner myself I understand how times are hard but this was terrible customer service. Very disappointing
I have been to Umi Sushi several times now and i'm always so impressed with the quality of sushi. I'm quite picky with sushi and we're so fortunate to have such a high quality and fantastic value restaurant so local. I can't recommend this place highly enough and look forward to visiting again soon. Ps the platters are excellent value and usually our selection.
Amazing sushi, great selection of authentic and westernised variety!! Have ordered a few times for nicer occasions and have never once been disappointed / the fried food (tempura etc) is always made fresh and hot. Lovely lovely couple running the place as well, would highly recommend! :)
We tried the sushi here for the first time as we have just moved closeby and really liked the easy way to order on the app. food was great and the team are friendly too. will be back!
I've been here a few times now; the sushi is always fresh and tastes excellent! It's as good as any sushi I've had anywhere else! Chicken katsu curry is also delicious. You may need to wait about 25mins or so for them to make your order if you walk in, but that's because they always make it fresh (if you order beforehand then it'll be ready for you). The seaweed is also excellent! Highly recommended!
The food is fresh and very good quality/price. The spring rolls were really good for take away, best we've tried! We would definitely order again.
Very nice sushi, newly opened opposite to where I live. I ordered salmon set, the price is reasonable and the sashimis are very very fresh. I would come back definitely.
