Don’t be fooled by the size or the “extra” in the name. There’s no deli here, no bakery here, nothing fresh, most of the things you’d expect to be able to buy from a supermarket in a building of this size just aren’t available here. It’s basic groceries only and the usual supermarket clothing. Around a third of what used to be retail space in this Tesco is now used for storage. That’s where the bakery, the deli, the house goods and electronics etc used to be.

Stayed in Newton for a month and came here nearly everyday… Fresh baked goods, solid meat selection, and plenty of fruits/vegs. Coming from Hawaii the prices were absolutely better. The quality of everything blew our minds. Back home there is a lack of “organic” options. Imagine paying $2 for one apple in Hawaii while for 99p you could get six! We spent probably £400-500 here where we would have spent $2,200+ at home for the same stuff.

If you want to pay for your shopping then have it taken off you and be accused of stealing it this is the place for you. If your not having the shopping you paid for and receipt taken off you so you leave the store minus your shopping and money, you can be sure of a confrontational experience, you personal space invaded and "staff" to get right up in your face. So close in fact as they aggressively confront you Spital will go on you and you will be able to work out they haven't taken advantage of any of the offers on dental floss or tooth paste.

Tesco is a reliable supermarket with a great selection of products. The fresh produce is usually good quality, and I love the variety—whether I need groceries, toiletries, or even clothes, Tesco has it all in one place. One of the best things is the Clubcard discounts—they really make a difference, especially with the rising cost of food. I’ve saved a lot over time just by using the Clubcard. The self-checkouts are convenient, friendly staff. I really like fresh fruits and flowers from Tesco.even all bakery items are good Overall, Tesco is a good supermarket with fair prices and plenty of choice. It’s not the cheapest option, but the quality and convenience keep me coming back.

Warrington Tesco management! Your refurbishment exercise is a complete mess making us to switch to Morrisons. You can continue moving furniture from one corner to another for as long as you want - 2 months is not enough. The shelves are not heavy as they are empty most of the time.

It's under a complete revamp. Sadly even the staff didn't know when it will be completed. Poor shopping experience leads me to recommend:- Go elsewhere it's a mess. !!! M

I went to Warrington Tesco Extra on the 24th at 21:10 to do a quick shop and I was told it at the door that it was closed at 21:00. This was obviously wrong and the security guard there was either misinformed or was being an unprofessional employee. ASDA will now be my super market of choice after this.
