Blue Bell is an absolute gem! Housed in a charming Tudor building, it offers lovely, cozy vibes and the food is simply scrumptious. We especially loved the tapas—highly recommended! The entire experience was elevated by our cheerful hostess, Lilly, who made us feel so welcome. Overall, a fantastic visit and a definite must-try.

Fantastic tapas lunch yesterday! We also had the mixed paella but forgot to take a picture!! It was delicious that we tucked in straight away!! We had a table upstairs which was spacious! The stairs can be a challenge after a few sangria’s!! But the staff and the service itself were great! We loved the food!! There was no rush to leave as we were sipping the sangria’s afterwards!!

The food was perfect, best Tapas I've had! The service was great, although our order missed going through so took a bit longer. This was handled expertly by our waiter, explained to us and free snacks were brought out while we waited. A fantastic venue, lovely atmosphere with the buildings history and a ghost story also written on the menu. I'd definitely recommend it

Tapas is delicious. Spicy shrimp flavor is on spot and Pork cheek stew is tender. Won’t recommend paella. Too sauce unlike the texture of a paella more like tomato sauce risotto. Not nicely blended. One thing to mention is for a single portion of gin tonic. They would count as separate things in menu and double as a cocktail. Therefore, a double cost 5+pounds and a single cost 7+. Only learn that at checkout. Wouldn’t say it’s worth more than the price but they have done what should have

We had an absolutely love meal here, and would recommend it absolutely. Friendly staff who were great with us and our two toddlers. The food was fresh, extremely flavoursome, and really very good. We will be back.

I booked here for my mum and her (newly) husband to celebrate their wedding before the ceremony. I wrote on the booking requesting a booth for us so i could swap gifts etc. We walked in and saw this lovely set up! i honestly did not expect this and neither did my family it was such a lovely suprise! the food was 10/10, lots of love went into each dish with brilliant prices too.I think Bluebell will have to be my new go to spot as a chester local. Thank you Bluebell, will be back soon :)

Top marks to the Bluebell Tapas restaurant in Chester. Stopped here for a cheeky lunch before wandering up the road Chesters Storyhouse Theatre. The restraunt was fairly quiet when visited, but had a good atmosphere. The serving staff was brilliant. Knew who she was expecting and remembered our booking included someone with special dietary requirements. The menu was pretty varied and at reasonable prices. Another on my list to re-visit.

First trip to Chester and found this place. The staff were super friendly, food came quick and each dish was delicious. Much nicer tapas than you get in the bigger chain restaurants. I will definitely be booking a table for when we next visit.
