Came out for a birthday, and wasn't disappointed! Despite being a busy Saturday night, nothing was rushed, and everything came out looking and tasting perfect - will definitely be back!
I am a regular at Sakura. The food is amazing and the staff are lovely but because the place is only small I’ve had issues when I order from takeaway where it often arrives 30mins late. I will still keep going because I know the food is so good, but just thought I’d let you know.
Ordered take away from here tonight food was very nice and we’ve enjoyed it the egg noodles with duck were lush and we have the 21 peice sushi box which was plenty to share between myself and my partner. Staff were super nice and friendly will most likely come here again when we want a take out
Food used to be great and good portions. Now they are charging more for less food. We gave them the benefit of the doubt with a previous delivery that took an hour and a half but last night we waited for 1 hour and 45 mins... They said 50 minutes so to be an hour over is shocking. No apology. Used to really like this place and have used them lots but sadly that was the last order they will receive from us.
Just ordered from Sakura, app said 85 mins for delivery, arrived 35 mins early, delivery driver very pleasant, food hot, really happy with the order we placed, no complaints, third time we have ordered from here and always been spot on.
Got recommended this place, quality of the food is really good. Ate quite a big portion of food and didn't feel bloated or sluggish after the meal. My only problem way the food was a little bland, the flavour was going in the right direction but they were a bit under seasoned. Maybe it's me preferring stronger flavours but my girlfriend said the same. But because of that I feel like it's a healthier option as a take out.
I have been hesitant to write this review for a while because their owners are really nice people and we built up a good relationship with them. However I am vegan and as a vegan/vegetarian I would want to know if a place was safe for me to eat, and unfortunately this is not one of those places… I’ve found a piece of chicken in my noodle box which isnt cool but fair enough because people make mistakes. but ,then I ordered again a couple weeks later and found a piece of beef I was refunded for all of it first time then the second time only £5 but that wasnt the main issue. I don’t think that the veg and meat are properly separated and there is clearly high rates of cross contamination.
Wasabi was yellowish color, ginger half pink , half yellow.Restaurant saves money on fresh products. Chester offers a lot better quality sushi.
Ordered food last night which took 2 hours to arrive!!! After calling to chase the order an hour and a half after ordering, they said the driver was just leaving but it still took half hour to arrive, even though I’m only 10 mins max away from them. The lady who delivered was apologetic, saying they were manic but they didn’t even put in a drink or anything for free as a sorry. The food was ok but I think the sauces were missing from our chosen build your own box. It definitely wasn’t worth the wait. It tasted reheated to be honest (we both said a bit like a Chinese microwave meal) disappointed after reading good reviews about quick delivery and delicious food.
Ordered because it was suggested to to us, and usually we don’t expect the food to be piping hot when it arrives. The wait was longer than expected but that’s because they were very busy (Rugby was on) but the ensured it would be hot and fresh on delivery and it was! The katsu curry was amazing and the chips were season and cooked perfectly! Restored my faith in Wrexham having decent and authentic global foods! Will be ordering again!
