“Lovely Sunday lunch served here. Part of the college so unsure what it's like during term time but of a Sunday it's really nice, quite full but we'll spaced so didn't feel too busy. Food couldn't be faulted”

“Always an amazing dining experience. Seriously, if you haven't tried this place yet, you are missing out. As usual, we were greeted with a warm welcome. The menu is amazing, but we always let the owner choose for us. Today, we had a mix of appetisers and then on to a mixed meat platter......check out the pics! “I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional service provided by the gentleman who worked night shift on the 27th November 2025. From the moment we arrived, his kindness and warm hospitality made us feel truly welcome. My husband just lost his mam that night and we both were devastated. My husband forgot to register our car but the gentleman offered his help and sorted it out for us. He even offered his condolences which is very kind and heartwarming. Unfortunately we forgot to ask his name. He wears glasses and worked night shift on 27 November 2025. He consistently went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of, always greeting us with a friendly smile and a genuine willingness to help. We only stayed for 1 night but we've already decided to book this hotel again every time we're in the area.”

“Excellent location in the centre of town, perfect for an away fan going to Wrexham. Staff were all very friendly and happy to help. They let us park in the car park early before check in. Lovely clean rooms with everything you expect and need for a short stay. Breakfast was lovely. Overall great value for money, if I'm ever back in the town I will definitely stay here again.”

“I don't normally go to Starbucks. I find the coffee too bitter. However, I went there today after a long walk. The staff were lovely and so welcoming. They wore the nicer message in the cup. To too this, the latte was so nice! Well done to the staff!”

“Our Sundays aren’t complete unless we’ve had a Sunday box! Everything is absolutely gorgeous. The cauliflower cheese, creamy cabbage, perfect roasters and fabulous Yorkshire puds too. “Got a Juke Burger at GPO Liverpool and the food was amazing. Last time we were at GPO my wife got a burger and I was sooo jealous that this time there was nowhere else I was going. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable when asked about allergens and really helpful. Good range of items on the menu. Wife had the Cluck Norris and I had the Brooklyn and they were both amazing and cooked perfectly. Had Cajun Fries which were crisp and perfectly cooked. Deffo would be my first choice when we go back to GPO!!”

“I was given a friendly welcome and during my visit I tried one of the small plate dishes they serve - seabass with mussels, coconut and massaman, served on a bed of tenderstem broccoli. The plate might have been small but the portion was generous and beautifully tasty. Highly recommended.”

“I didnr stay at this hotel but went for dinner with friends and I just wanted to say that having eaten several times at this hotel this was the very best. The main thing was the service. We had a delightful young woman that looked after us she was efficient, knowledgeable,well presented and took our orders with minimum effort. Why cant all waiting on staff be like her. She even listened to my suggestion of a large print menu or magnifier to assist people with poor sight to remain independent whilst out. Having spoken in favour of our waiting on staff I should also say the food was lovely too.”
