We didn't stay over but came for a festive afternoon tea. We had a fantastic time, the venue was lovely - very festive. The afternoon tea was delicious (one of the best we've had) and a reasonable price. Staff were very friendly and attentive but did not over do it, they were immediately available if needed. We would definitely recommend this place and can't wait to come back.

I didnr stay at this hotel but went for dinner with friends and I just wanted to say that having eaten several times at this hotel this was the very best. The main thing was the service. We had a delightful young woman that looked after us she was efficient, knowledgeable, well presented and took our orders with minimum effort. Why cant all waiting on staff be like her. She even listened to my suggestion of a large print menu or magnifier to assist people with poor sight to remain independent whilst out. Having spoken in favour of our waiting on staff I should also say the food was lovely too.

We visited for an Afternoon Tea experience. Our table was discreetly sited and well proportioned for the number of people in the party. Service was steady, we were not rushed nor left alone. There was a choice of at least 8 types of tea to select from and our server was very knowledgeable of each one. The food was tasty and plentiful, with boxes available for the cakes we couldn't eat. Thank you for making a most memorable experience.

I just wanted to write and say thank you for a wonderful stay. First and foremost a big thank you to each member of staff we dealt with starting with our welcome by Samana (I hope I spelled that correctly) and also a particular praise to the dinner serving staff. Our server was the one studying aerospace engineering at uni. Great service. Also the dinner itself was exceptional quality. We had the salmon folloeed by a cheese board. One of the neat meals we have had. High praise to the chefs. Breakfast filter coffee was a really good coffee.....and I like my coffee. The room was beautiful, the shower fantastic. Only minor things were that the pool was quite cold, wifi was patchy in our room and as other reviews have commented the loud noise made from people coming back to their rooms late from the functions hosted. Apart from that, a wonderful stay and we will most certainly be back. Thanks again.

We recently stayed at the hotel to celebrate our daughter 21 birthday. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, all the staff were great, polite and helpful, including reception, restaurants, SPA and housekeeping. The rooms are a delight, so clean, modern and yet cosy and comfy. The lunch at Nelson was great, and with plenty of choices, thanks. The food and cocktails at Palm Court were just amazing, the whole experience was a fabulous family treat. Also the breakfast in the morning was great, thank you everyone, we will definitely come back.

Lovely atrium and rooms. Efficient check in and reception staff. Spa was excellent and good value for money although changing rooms a little dated. Staff were really helpful and working hard but seemed a little short staffed in Nelson's Bar. Food was delicious. Veggie strudel dish needed sauce.

Stayed for one night as a birthday present. The hotel is in the nice village of Pulford with tranquil countrywide surroundings. The hotel itself is nice with clean and comfortable rooms. It is popular with people from a far. Swimming pool and spa are great facilities. Spa is warm. Restaurant has a Lord Nelson theme to it and the Sunday Roast can be highly recommended. Staff are really polite. Looking forward to going again.

We stayed here to get engaged officially, this week. The room was fantastic, so comfortable and luxurious. A special mention must go to Rhiannon and Sara in the Palm Court restaurant, who made the occasion extra special for us. This is the best hotel we have ever stayed in. Thank you for making our stay so memorable.

This review is long overdue having stayed here for 2 nights in April 22. This was a birthday treat from my partner and wow what a treat it was! This is one of those luxury spoil someone you love places and it really doesn't disappoint in that department. Its a large hotel with several dining options and a spa set amongst some amazing, contrasting themed garden spaces. The parts that I saw were all polished and finished to a very high standard with no tired corners to see anywhere. The reception staff were professional and efficient, the restaurant staff, polite, friendly and efficient, and, the spa staff polite, professional and methodical. We stayed in room 71 and found it to be very comfortable, well equipped and relaxing. Had a meal in each restaurant, Nelsons being more relaxed and the piano bar being more formal but all food was of a high standard, well presented and very tasty. Took advantage of the pool and then a massage, my first one ever. Recovering from a minor leg op, Kayliegh took great care and gave just the right amount of pressure in all the right places. My knotted tense shoulders felt like jelly after, felt like I was floating for the rest of the day, amazing experience and one I'd like to repeat someday. A Wonderful place, loved it all...a little expensive on the average budget but a luxury treat for those special occasions... don't miss the zen garden to the rear if you stay.

Lovely night spent at the Grosvenor Pulford. Staff in Nelson's bar were excellent as was the food. Good value. Atmosphere and cocktails in the Palm Court were super. Lovely singer and pianist in the evening. Only stayed for one night, but will definitely return.
