“Amazing vets! Our dog has been registered here for years and even though we live in North Wales now we still bring him here as they are such a great practice. Our dog actually loves going here! The staff are all so warm and friendly. We recently had to have a lump removed from our dog and the communication from the admin staff was second to none, any questions I had they found the correct information for me and always called me back very quickly with updates, as well as giving our dog lots of fuss. The practice manager called me within minutes of our insurance decision which again was so helpful during a stressful process not to be waiting around. We got test results back and our dog was booked for his operation within 3 days! The vet who saw and operated on our dog was warm, empathetic and very knowledgeable, she really put our mind at ease and did a fantastic job. All of the team have been so kind to me (and Dexter our dog) throughout. Calling to check in both before and after the surgery which I really appreciated. This is my first experience of having my dog treated for something big and worrying but Vets 4 Pets Hoole made the process so much better. “Our pets (cats, tortoise and rabbits) have been patients at this practice for many years. The vets, nurses and reception staff are always very professional, but patient and kind. Recently Filiz has been treating our 7 year old rabbit for mobility issues. Having tried various medicines Filiz suggested a course of acupuncture. It was very evident that Filiz was knowledgable - in between treatments she consulted with other professionals using acupuncture and looked research to support her treatment. Filiz is a very kind and gentle professional - I found her approach reassuring and instilled a sense of confidence. Filiz didn’t make any promises about how successful the acupuncture would be, but I am currently sat in the garden watching Mossy running around …. I would highly recommend this practice. All of the staff are kind and compassionate, giving guidance and advice with animal welfare at the heart of everything they do. They have cared for all our pets beautifully. (oh and definitely give acupuncture a try!)”

“Site up-to usual club standards and wardens helpful and polite. Location perfect for the designer shopping 15 minute walk away including a Sainsbury’s supermarket and several eating places. Not far from the canal boat museum, Anderton boat lift, Chester - use park and ride just 3 miles away, Port Sunlight garden centre, museum and art gallery and Blakemere Village just a few miles from the Anderton boat lift.”

“Had an absolutely fantastic stay here. The staff were so accommodating, had to extend our stay by a night and it was no issue. Rooms were lovely and clean, the beds were very comfortable. Location was fantastic. I would come back to this hotel in a heartbeat.”

“Stayed here the night before my wedding in Chester in the Ascot Suite apartment. Lovely, spacious room with a panoramic view of the Racecourse, and which provided a great backdrop for the photos of myself and the Groomsmen getting ready in prior to the wedding. Separate bedroom was a good size with comfy bed for the night, and the kitchen/lounge area was very spacious which was used in the aforementioned photos. The staff on the front desk were super friendly and helpful, can't complement them enough. A great place to stay in a lovely city.”

“Kevin (at Petco) is an absolute natural with dogs. He has walked Skye since when she was young, ten years ago, and he had her for homeboarding too. Skye was hard work back then, but with Kevin she has always been excellent. He knows how to calm her and gives her confidence. Skye loves him. We are so pleased to know Kevin and trust that we can leave Skye in his capable and pleasant care.”

“I wouldn't leave my border collie with anyone else. I have full confidence every time I leave him and he has the best time at Canine Capers. Emma and James are brilliant him and all his quirks, and they've been lifesavers over the last couple years! We love the Facebook updates too, it's so good to see how happy all the dogs are.”

Lots of free parking available on arrival we were offered a complimentary cookie (vegan and gluten free option available) which was a lovely touch. The spa was beautiful and treatments were amazing. All the staff were lovely and helpful. The room was also very nice and clean. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. The food in the garden room was amazing thanks to the chef James and our server Ava was amazing and made sure my dietary requirements were met. Breakfast was also great. Overall 10/10 experience and I’ll be back”

“We go here for the self dog wash. It’s mega. A “jet wash” style vending machine with everything you need, shampoo, conditioner, towels and aprons provided. My Rottie loves having a shower here. We don’t go anywhere else.”

“We have stayed at Leonardo hotels previously. This like the others was clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful. We had breakfast here, good choice and some items good be ordered ie poached or scrambled eggs and vegan sausage. Also oatmeal to order There was gf cereals and bread,with a separate toaster and plant based milks. Our room was very large,it is probably available for wheelchair users, but it was a bath with shower over, so that could be difficult.”

“Good quality accommodation at a reasonable price. The YHA has a fab recreation room, a communal kitchen, a canteen (serving a 10/10 full English/ continental breakfast) and a onside restaurant. Its also set in the most beautiful grounds around 12-15 minutes drive from Chester.”
