“I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional service provided by the gentleman who worked night shift on the 27th November 2025. From the moment we arrived, his kindness and warm hospitality made us feel truly welcome. My husband just lost his mam that night and we both were devastated. My husband forgot to register our car but the gentleman offered his help and sorted it out for us. He even offered his condolences which is very kind and heartwarming. Unfortunately we forgot to ask his name. He wears glasses and worked night shift on 27 November 2025. He consistently went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of, always greeting us with a friendly smile and a genuine willingness to help. We only stayed for 1 night but we've already decided to book this hotel again every time we're in the area.”

“Our request for an appointment to register our dog/for a health check was dealt with quickly and the appointment availability was great. When walking into the appointment to speak to the vet she was very clear as to what she was checking for & what we need to be aware of/what the plan should be for our dog. Both her & the receptionist explanation of his treatments, the complete care plan/pricing was very transparent so we didn’t feel at any point we’d be facing any hidden charges. They also offered to chase the previous owner’s vets for the information we couldn’t obtain.”

“Toby started going to Uncle Graham's in April when he was 3 months old. Toby charges in every time to see Poppy and his little friends. He loves Graham, and Graham adores all the dogs. If the weather is very hot, Graham gets the paddling pool out for them and, on occasions, he treats them to an ice-cream cone! Toby had a sleep-over on Friday for the first time which went very well. I would advise anyone to take their dog to Graham's.”

“I feel totally confident in leaving all my animals in Sabine's care. She house sits for me when I'm on holiday plus comes in the day when I'm at work. It's great to have peace of mind that everything is being done to a consistently high standard. She looks after horses, 3 dogs, a cat and my chickens. As well as walking the dogs, she plays games to make them think which is important with collies. Previously going on holiday was an exercise in logistics, to ensure all the animals were properly looked after. Now it's easy and i can relax confident all with be fine. Thanks Pawlig's Pet care x”

We spoke to Tia, she was so helpful and advised us to get kitten food with explanation of why it would be best and told us about some brands and why they’re good quality. “Bear was brought suffering from a severe boas attack his sats were 60 and his temp really high really struggling to breathe and going blue,the staff acted swiftly to bring this under control which basically saved bears life,the after care was equally efficient but also done with compasion they spent time with bear giving cuddles etc which bear loves especially when he would have been out of his comfort zone,at every stage they kept us up to date with his progress which put us at ease in such a terrible situation.we can't thank the practice enough for all that they did to help our little boy who now his safely back home and doing really well thanks to the whole team for everything you did !!!”

“Absolutely brilliant consultation service. I saw a lady pharmacist because of suspected throat infection, and she was excellent. She was thorough, listened to me, checked my blood pressure, temp, blood oxygen, listened to my chest, and swabbed my throat. She even checked my medical records and explained everything to me. Better service than with my actual GP! Would highly recommend this service, cannot fault it.”

“Luckily was sent to this practice (out of hours) on two occasions over the last two years. Both times my very elderly dogs had to be put to sleep. Absolutely the right decision. The care of the staff was so exemplary that I decided to move over to them permanently. Even though it’s a half hour drive, it 100% worth it.”

“Tim Dale is the most amazing vet ever he really knows what he is doing, he really cares about your pet hes literally a life saver. I won't take my guinea pigs anywhere else, my guinea was so poorly and Tim spent a long time with him cleaning him up treating him and sorting out lots of medications and treatment plan for him, he skipped his own lunch break to save my pig in crisis. Tim is the man thank you I am forever grateful”

“I can thoroughly recommend this veterinary practice, the staff are wonderfully friendly, helpful people and everywhere is spotlessly clean. I was trying to register an older animal belonging to a homeless person, this seemed to be a big problem for another practice in the city, the receptionist was snooty so I decided to call into Borras Vets, the reception there was vastly different. Unfortunately there was a shortage of immediate appointments due the 2 consecutive bank holiday weekends so I took the first availability, however, this was not needed on the day so I cancelled and offered to pay because of the short notice but they wouldn't hear of it and assured me they would be able to fill the space time and again, which I thought was very good of them. Should I ever have a pet of my own in the future I shall definitely make this practice my first port of call.”

“I didnr stay at this hotel but went for dinner with friends and I just wanted to say that having eaten several times at this hotel this was the very best. The main thing was the service. We had a delightful young woman that looked after us she was efficient, knowledgeable,well presented and took our orders with minimum effort. Why cant all waiting on staff be like her. She even listened to my suggestion of a large print menu or magnifier to assist people with poor sight to remain independent whilst out. Having spoken in favour of our waiting on staff I should also say the food was lovely too.”
