Excellent vets for exotics. I take my tortoise there every year for a health check. Tim treated him/her for shell rot a few years ago, very knowledgeable and Henry aka Henrietta received excellent care.
Doctor Tim is absolutely amazing. With his nurses he went above and beyond to help us care for our very poorly chinchilla. Excellent care, amazing people. We will always be grateful for everything.
I had a really good experience at this vet. The staff were kind and caring, and they made sure my pet was well looked after. The communication after my pet’s operation was excellent – they kept me updated and explained everything clearly, which really put my mind at ease. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring vets.
Very pleased with the service I received for my corn snake, Tim very obviously knows exotics and I’m very happy my snake received care from him rather than a non specialised veterinarian. He gave tips for husbandry and knew how to handle my snake properly and safely which was my main concern when looking for a vet. Would recommend.
Tim Dale is the most amazing vet ever he really knows what he is doing, he really cares about your pet hes literally a life saver. I won't take my guinea pigs anywhere else, my guinea was so poorly and Tim spent a long time with him cleaning him up treating him and sorting out lots of medications and treatment plan for him, he skipped his own lunch break to save my pig in crisis. Tim is the man thank you I am forever grateful
Brilliant as ever, they care about your pets, are lovely and deal well with mine being scared/stressed by finding interesting ways to deal with it, couldn't be happier.
Even though we visited to have our elderly ill dog put to sleep, Gemma the Vet was so nice and treated both us and our Tiny lovely. She kept us updated on the process, gave us lots and lots of time even though they were very busy. Gemma we thank you from the family for the kindness and respect you showed us and Tiny in her last moments with us.
I've used Gatehouse Vets for about 18 years and they looked after my first Westie Hamish very kindly and sympathetically when he needed help . When he was no longer with us we missed him so much that we needed our home to have a dog again. We ended up with 2 sister Westies who are being looked after by Gatehouse very caringly.
Reasonably priced veterinary clinic with very knowledgeable staff. I took my budgies there and they handled them with care and understanding. Would fully recommend.
