Stayed for Five days, and Iβll say they have poor internal communication. Officials entering Room without authorisations while Guests are inside well before check out. Contradicting information on service available by Staff which I believe is due to lack of/ low training. The seated Row machine in the gym is not working however The Staff are really polite Fatima was exceptional, thereβs nothing really justifying of the five star ratings it has.

Ok the location is great. The door staff and the staff in the brasserie very good. Food good and not badly priced. Good value. They add 12.5% service charge automatically which is strange. You may wish to leave more but just pay the bill anyway. Reception is efficient but the reception area is nothing special, in fact a bit dark and drab. Place needs a little bit of updating TLC. Not bad and great for location but not really 5*.

Wonderful location. The accommodation size and quality is what we expected for the price of a suite. We did have one precariously wonky and unstable table. The bed was incredibly comfy. We enjoyed being able to order breakfast to the room.

My wife and I stayed here the night of our wedding, along with our immediate families. The rooms were incredibly luxurious and spacious with lots of care and attention paid to them. Bed was incredibly comfy - we didn't want to ever leave! The breakfast the next day - which was most needed - was delicious and fresh, and everyone enjoyed it. A huge thank you to the staff who really went the extra mile to assure that we had a wonderful evening when we arrived and throughout our stay. From organising the block booking of rooms, to arranging breakfast for us all the following day to the personal touches special to my wife and I to celebrate. We're locals to the city and it was truly a wonderful experience to get to stay here.

Just had an excellent 2 night stay here. Service was excellent and our room was lovely, clean comfortable and very quiet at night. The air conditioning was extremely easy to use and was very effective. Breakfast both days was very nice. Parking in the Grovensor Centre Car Park (chargeable) allowed for very easy access to the hotel and it felt safe to leave the car there. Our thanks to all.

Our stay at the charming hotel was wonderful, the service was lovely and the original features were charming. However, we did notice that the rooms were a bit tired and in need of some maintenance, specifically loose tiles in the bathroom and a very loud air conditioning system. Despite these issues, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found the location to be great. Wonderful breakfast and service at the brasserie. The highlight was the exceptional dinner at The Arkle!

The hotel is in a great position. The car park is a multi storey behind the hotel. Bit isnβt free and the hotel rear entrance isnβt clearly marked. Itβs on level2A not 2 as described. The room was a disappointment , very tired and dated. Wallpaper was a massive floral design covering every wall. Not nice. Heating was provided by a air conditioning unit which was noisy all night. The bathroom was very old with an old shower curtain and old shower head which couldnβt be adjusted. Breakfast was basic porridge and pastries. Unless you wanted to pay Β£9.50 for full English. Which was very nice. Staff were nice and polite. But wouldnβt go there again for Β£234 for one night.

We booked last minute for our 30th wedding anniversary. Lovely welcome by the staff. The room was very spacious and had everything you need. The reception team had left a chocolate dessert with a βhappy anniversaryβ note - which was a lovely touch. There are extras in the room that you can purchase so ensure you read the card on what is complimentary. Breakfast was very busy. The pastries were delicious. We were given a large pot of tea and coffee with extra hot water. My husband was a bit disappointed with the cooked breakfast as the beans were cold and the sausage was tough but we didnβt complain as we could see the staff were doing all they could to get the food out. Good check out time of 11am. Lovely pleasant staff. I would stay again.

What a lovely experience today. Not having been for years, I thought I was taking my guests for a Fine Dining lunch only to be gently informed that I was at the wrong Grosvenor. However the charming receptionist checked with their restaurant and then escorted us across as availability was made. The restaurant service was excellent and despite my guests causing confusion with their meal choices, nothing was a problem. No e of this would have happened without ,on arrival, the wonderful porters who were wonderful in sorting out our car parking issues. Thank you so much for making our visit so lovely today.

My husband and I were gifted a two night stay at the Grosvenor as a wedding present from our parents. It was a complete surprise. When we got to the front desk we were greeted by Kaitlyn who congratulated us and gave us our room details. The hotel was absolutely stunning, the staff were lovely, the food was delicious. We would love to return in the future. Thank you to everyone who looked after us.
