Booked an afternoon tea voucher for a friend. We had a lovely time catching up over some good food in a lovely venue. Working locally on Grosvenor Road we said we would most definitely be back soon. Thank you !

Visited the restaurant today for a Christmas lunch with 5 friends, excellent service from attentive staff from arrival and throughout. Food was very tasty and plentiful. I would definitely recommend the venue and I will return. Thank you.

We had a fantastic meal here this weekend with a group of friends before heading to the football – and it was absolutely not your typical pre-match venue, which was perfect for us. It’s a lovely, relaxed restaurant in its own right and ideal for a catch-up over great food. The team were brilliant from the start. They’d clearly read the notes on our booking and thoughtfully joined us with our friends’ reservation, giving us a table for six in what felt like our own little room. The staff were so kind, attentive and genuinely welcoming throughout. The menu had lots of choice and everything we ordered was delicious. I had the mushroom and artichoke pie, which was really tasty, and a side of Brussels sprouts with garlic and sage (which were probably the best sprouts I’ve ever had!). There’s also a great selection of Welsh beers, which we very much enjoyed. A brilliant spot for good food, great service and a relaxed meal with friends. Thank you to all the great staff.

Excellent location in the centre of town, perfect for an away fan going to Wrexham. Staff were all very friendly and happy to help. They let us park in the car park early before check in. Lovely clean rooms with everything you expect and need for a short stay. Breakfast was lovely. Overall great value for money, if I'm ever back in the town I will definitely stay here again.

Lovely little hotel close to centre and amenities , with car parking. Animal friendly and so not suitable for anyone who has allergies. I had to double my antihistamine dose as there were animal hairs on the bedding, though clean. Rooms were clean but could be cleaner. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Provided a fan when requested as the room was hot. I feel the cost of the room was a bit expensive. Breakfast was nice (especially the sourdough bread), though I feel it should be part of the cost of the rooms. Lack of cereals and juice which should be free if you prepaid when booking the room. Could get cheaper breakfasts in the centre. Constantly remind staff at every occasion of your allergies with your meals as they kept getting it wrong in term of my dairyfree meals. Though they were apologetic and corrected it.

Tim and I dined there last night for his birthday. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, the staff are thoughtful and attentive and the food is delicious. We had a lovely time and would not hesitate to recommend a meal here. Thank you.

Wonderful staff, the food is absolutely amazing- some of the best I've had in all the UK. Rooms are on the smaller size but perfect for our needs and the bathrooms have been upgraded. Walking distance to all the attractions in town.

My wife and I celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary at the Lemon Tree last night. Room 18. Absolutely faultless. One minor niggle from me was that the room was too warm even though the radiator was turned off. James, Sarah and the cook superb.

Lovely small friendly hotel with lovely staff. Everywhere very clean. Deducted one star from rooms as the sink in the bathroom was the smallest possible but it only served to amuse us trying g to wash in it. Food was very good although the week menu could have one or two plainer/English dishes for our taste but that is purely personal.

This is our second time visiting the hotel as we loved it so much. Its a lovely building, I think of a converted church. It's very cosy and warm which is a big thing to me staying away. The staff are lovely and breakfast is amazing. We've stayed in the same room twice and our only minor complaint is a brighter lamp so we can read from it rather than having the big light on. Other than that it's perfect!
