I love the local, original, quirky, delicious things you can find here. I do all my gift shopping here as there is something for everyone, including the granddog! The coffee and cake is good too.

We came here for lunch and everything was delicious. I had the soup of the day — a carrot soup — and it was really tasty. The coffee was great too. There’s also a little shop where you can buy fresh bread and other treats. Lovely place!

Brunch and roasted marshmallow What a fabulous stop off on the way to our North Wales holiday. We had heard about the farm shop and Estates in general and thought it was worth stopping by as we were in the area. So glad we did and had such a fabulous brunch and got to explore a little bit of the grounds with the marshmallow roasting too. We had the Oak Royale and soup of the day both of which were a fantastic and went for a walk up to the bonfire. The weather wasn’t great but still really enjoyed seeing beautiful decor and personality of the estate. Really interesting family history behind the estate too.

Lovely afternoon tea with the family on a beautiful spring day. The afternoon tea selection was excellent - everything very fresh and beautifully presented. We then spent time in the wonderful grounds with so much space for the grandkids to run around and lots of different activity installations to keep them entertained

Very overpriced, charging like they're in London not North Wales. The food is good but at £8 for a bacon sandwich or £4.50 for a round of toast I still found my breakfast hard to stomach. The farm shop seems smaller than it used to be and disappointing. Overall I feel the owners are to focused on style and have missed out on substance.

All style, no substance and certainly NOT a farm shop. Hardly any farm produce - this place is an over-priced cafe that looks really pretty, but the prices are absolutely EXTORTIONATE. They also can't be bothered to sort out the gargantuan holes in their car park. Won't be visiting again; Complete waste of time

Overall our stay at Hawarden was lovely. We camped for 2 nights in a bell tent in August and although the facilities and surroundings are great we felt the camping set up was pretty basic for £75 per night. The website only shows photos of the outside and we were expecting it to be a bit cosier having stayed in similar places before for the same price. We ate at the farm shop restaurant both nights and it had a great atmosphere. The food was really good and staff very friendly but on the Friday the que to order food/drinks was 30+ minutes each time which wasn’t ideal!

Just been to a fantastic Easter hunt with my 3 children aged 14 , 10 and 16months. There was so much to do and the weather was gorgeous for it . At the farm shop there is a cafe and a shop with fresh fruit and veg there’s a butchers and there’s and refill station for washing liquid and other supply’s . They now do camping and there is an pick your own orchard which is really lovely to do .there are other events which are on there fb page I absolutely enjoy my visit here .

Brief visit, but looks great. I'll definitely return for a good look around. They do sell my favourite chocolate - Tony's Chocolonely, and I've never seen so many varieties! I am wondering whether you can order a large coffee, or whether 'one size fits all'...
