We had dinner and enjoyed the food at the sushi bar. They are all very kind you can feel home. The tasting menu is complete and the food is good/very good.

The most INCREDIBLE dining experience. Every dish is just a show stopper and unforgettable and the service is impeccable. The flavours are so well done and delicately balanced and unique. I also loved how they used so many local ingredients. Every single part of the meal was crafted with such care. the husband and wife duo who run the restaurant are so talented and kind. We went for our one year wedding anniversary and were even given a wonderful surprise card written in Japanese.

Chef Tamas and Chef Tomoko were incredibly attentive to our preferences. The service was exceptional, and the ingredients were incredibly fresh and top quality. The seasonings used were a masterful blend of flavors that complemented each other seamlessly. We hope we could come back again soon!

Great evening and amazing job in hosting such a great dining experience. Compared to other high end dinning places I have been to in Asia including Japan and Europe. I believe the Sushi rice had too much vinegar and sauce in my opinion and the balance of fish and rice (and wasabi) was not in that sweet spot yet, but overall very tasty sushi and high quality ingredients. In my opinion in Asia you can taste a bit more fish while the rice taste is slightly more neutral. All other dishes were fantastic! Desert and starters were out of the world! Service was great overall too! Please continue sharing these amazing dishes with the world! Especially the Tofu, Scallop, Eel and dessert dish were great! Love the story behind the restaurant and chefs Tamas and Tomoko. Big thank you for the cute birthday card and the small gift :)

A beautiful setting and intimate dining experience. Really great quality produce, with the scallops and fatty tuna being the highlight - a buttery melt-in-your-mouth sensation which I would love to have again (and again). Most of the courses were wonderful with 1 or 2 being a slight miss for my tastebuds. The chefs were lovely and explained the courses and source of produce with detail which I thoroughly enjoyed. Unfortunately, -1 star because I did have an intense stomach ache about an hour after the dinner but may be due to my own sensitivity since my partner was fine!

An intimate dining experience with just ten people per sitting, where you see the husband and wife chef prepare everything in front of you. The food was vast with many course, with everything being outstanding in terms of taste and quality. My personal highlights were the scallop and the duck soup. We opted for the wine pairing too, but if I were to go again I would not opt for that a second time round. A perfect location for an impressive date night and a must-go for any foodie looking for a new up and coming restaurant.

The most amazing omakase experience. The fatty tuna, topped with uni and homemade mustard then wrapped with seaweed was probably one of the the best mouthfuls Iβve had in my life! The chefs (who are also a couple!) were extremely welcoming, professional and skilled. They explained all the dishes, and made the dining atmosphere very comfortable. A beautiful experience! Thank you Roji!

Chisou have a pretty good track record picking winners from the new generation of sushi chefs, often opening the floor to non-Japanese talent. In Roji, theyβve done it again. Tamas and Tomokoβs sushi is very, very good - rice, preparation and seasoning all beyond reproach - but it is their cooking that sets Roji apart. Expert and diligent preparation combine in beautifully balanced flavours that elevate the whole experience beyond the London omakase norm. The atmosphere is relaxed, intimate and friendly, and the thoughtfulness of the unusual sake pairing a pleasant surprise, though with the sheer number of glasses, it can feel a little rushed. Relative to its peers, the set price for the meal is very reasonable. Overall, Roji is a welcome addition to the London scene, and one that finds itself firmly near the top.

With only 10 pre-booked seats available, the whole experience feels well invested. The fact that they have carefully selected the ceramics to go with locally sourced ingredients is transporting. It feels like a spa for food enthusiasts tucked away from the busy streets of London; like you step in a Narnian closet but with Japanese elements. Another hideaway unfolded into the open - the things I am hesitant of announcing but the world just needs to know. The couple chefs were just amazing with their service and looking forward for more. A 2-hour dinner was just not enough. I didnt even have the opportunity to experiment on their drinks menu as there wasn't a pairing set for the omakase, but to be fair, I was already swept away with the food (despite having one steal the show by not being happy with the sushi rice). I wasn't so sure though about the little giveaway at the end as it started leaking arriving at the hotel. I think it was something pickled. Although it is basic courtesy, but maybe a dress code reminder could be reiterated as someone can just turn up in their board shorts and that spoils the experience. As for the early birds, just before you reach that little alley to the restaurant, there's a nice art exhibit you might want to drop by.

Great sushi omakase for a special occasion! Was awesome to speak with the chef and understand where the ingredients are from. Most are sustainably and locally sourced. Menu changes depending on what he gets from the market. The one thing missing would be a small dessert, just to wrap up the meal. Flavours: 4* Hospitality: 5* Value for money: 3.5*
