   Staff polite friendly and helpful, well stocked and good variety of foods/products. Great that this store is in the town centre, really adds to the convenience. As the florist 'Thanks A Bunch' is now unfortunately closed, I purchase lilies from this Tesco store and they are truly superb.

   Dreadful customer service from Diane working on the kiosk 23/6/25 apx 12.30 - tutting, rolling eyes, verbally rude to several older ladies paying cash as she 'didnt have change'. Upset many people but seemed to have no filter or skills in interacting. Awful staff experience to witness.

   Had to nip in today to post a parcel and didn't have a clue what to do. I got into a tiny panic thinking I'd totaly messed it up so I went to customer services and the lady showed me exactly what to do. She was so helpful, didn't make me feel like I was a nuisance and put my mind at ease. Really lovely and friendly. Thank you Shelley, you made my day :)

   After purchasing some roast potatoes from this store only to find maggots inside . Store asked us to return which we did . I then left and said there should be compensation for our family after nearly eating the maggots which was going to also be eaten by my 2 year old son . The store offered a £15 gift card which we was told would be in store to collect i then phoned numerous times after trying to collect the gift card and be told the gift card isn't in store I have the wrong information making my 70 year old nan go back and forth to tesco for nothing . Tesco then called and said the gift card is actually there and now she has to go back AGAIN. The way that tesco has delt with the situation is unprofessional ill be taking this further and won't be returning to tesco for food after reading alot of reviews online i don't seem to be the only person with this experience

   Been coming here for over two years now. Staff were friendly however especially late in the day, not much left on the shelves only two packs of mushrooms left. Big empty shelves, in places. It is expensive being a Tesco metro but it's definitely handy for it's location when there isn't many other supermarkets in the town centre.

   Location great and staff great hence the 2 stars. Prices are an absolute rip off all of a sudden, I know these places charge a bit more than the big tesco but this is horrific, I'm done with this place after this mornings visit and would now rather walk down to marks and Spencer which is a lot cheaper for the items that I buy. Honestly I can't believe the greed of this place. Done with it.

   Even yellow sticker stuff not cheap there now, before you excuse that on current inflation; I'd sooner shop at any other supermarket from Waitrose to Liddle. What really antagonises me is why you would sabotage your own standard of customer service. You want to buy something for a quid; que up at the kiosk for ages staring at half a dozen unused self service tills, or be forced to use your a card to spend a quid.

   seriously the woman behind the customer service grabbed something i was about to pick up from the reduced section and put it behind the till for herself 1 and a half hours before closing? surely that’s not fair on customers. your staff should be ashamed.

   Not impressed seeing staff at tills or packing shelves chewing chewing gum, looks unprofessional and a pet hate. I have also seen senior members with gum in their mouths, some staff try to hide that they are chewing to no avail.
