Had apparently fresh homemade lasagne, that was so obliterated in a microwave ,so much so I couldn't cut through the bottom layer!!! Inedible. Wife had steak pie ,which is only a puff pastry top (not a whole pie).this was only lukewarm, if it came out of an oven it would have been piping hot!! Disappointed to say the least.drinks overpriced too .

Absolutely delicious,I had the sausage mash and peas with delicious gravy and my daughter had delicious cheese and onion pie with chips and mushy peas the apple crumble was out of this world and my daughter enjoyed her vanilla sponge and custard will definitely return.

Had lunch there today. I had the braising steak with mashed potatoes and garden peas with delicious gravy. Very tasty and generous portions. My friend couldn't resist the rag pudding with thick cut chips and mushy peas. Too full for desserts. Staff very friendly and its dog friendly too. Will definitely go back (and soon).

We had a "small plate" size meal which was perfect. Choice of 2 or 3 course at special price. Main menu available which was extensive. All freshly made by chef. Newly revamped inside so everything looked smart and welcoming. Relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff

Had the minted lamb shank found it to be rather dry, the fizzy pop was flat, the eating area was out of site from the bar so getting service took longer than expected but the sticky toffee pudding was very nice but it could've just been an off day hopefully it is.

This was a nice homely place. Does come across as more of a local pub than a restaurant. The staff where lovely and attentive and the food was ok.

Great little pub with a nice atmosphere. Comfy and relaxed with really friendly staff. The steak and ale pie was 1st class. My wife had the halloumi burger. We both loved the food, and the drinks were good too. Very reasonable prices and a good sized portion. Simple menu, but something for everyone. Would recommend and will call in again soon. Maybe we’ll have a walk around Uppermill one Sunday in autumn to build-up an appetite and then call in to try the roast dinner. Thanks Dysarts Arms! See you soon.

Walked here for tea on Friday night while staying at the campsite down the road. We sat outside as it was very warm evening. The food was lovely. The only probis that the tables are not really big enough for 4 plates, so once we had the extra side order and drinks there was no space to move and so the sauce box and empty dishes had to go on the floor. The portions are very large and very good value. We enjoy it so much that we went back the next night but we sat indoors as there were 2 extra people so no way we could have sat outside.
