   A very lovely experience at Brooks. The dishes are different and tasty so you can get a mix of flavours. Staff is friendly and attentive. The venue is super cosy and nice lighting. Highly recommend!

   Came back in September 2025. Surprise was the mackerel and potatoes stuffed in crumbs which is kind of like a scotch egg but without eggs. The sea bass was a small portion though. Overall, we still live the food and service is great. We ordered four dishes and beer each, cost about £51 in total. Back in 2024: First time we giving a restaurant five stars for food, service and atmosphere. This place changed my perception of Sri Lanka food as my ignorant self thought was only thick curry similar to Indian. The food is top notch, refreshing curry that I finished every drop of, huge hake mallum is just something extraordinary which I've never tasted before. Must order the mallum and king prawn curry. Even the side dish of rice is so soft and fluffy, I am going to ask them where I can get the rice. Service is attentive and friendly, and seating is comfortable, great interior design. I'd go on but best that more people try this place for themselves. Totally worth paying the price. We ordered four tapas, a side and a dessert and we had already overeaten.

   We hadn’t tried Sri Lankan food before and really enjoyed it - the waitress was helpful in helping us choose a good selection of the tapas style dishes. We went for 4 to share including a chicken curry, prawn curry, vegetable noodle dish and Asian burgers. We also had a side of coconut rice. The service was good and our food came quickly- the flavours were lovely and fresh. Good value meal in pleasant surroundings.

   Sri Lankan food was new to me so we had to try it and the whole experience was good. Interesting menu and nice surroundings and the staff were lovely too. We had a new chicken dish, lettuce lentil tacos, a (small) hake dish and a (small) wild mushroom dish. Added vegetable rice - 1 portion of rice was sufficient. The style was more tapas than typical south Asian curry- the dishes have a light touch. We enjoyed the £12.50 dessert- a mix of a few different puddings/cakes which were interesting. Cafe interior was attractive and the toilets good.

   This will surely be the hottest dinner ticket in town? As a visitor from the London suburbs I'm struggling to think of anywhere I've been recently that comes close. Spot on across the board but the food is the star of the show. Whow!

   Fantastic little restaurant serving authentic Asian tapas, some of the dishes and flavours I had never experienced before and all were delicious. The pork in the signature Sri Lankan curry dish melted in the mouth and the mini burgers were to die for. The service was excellent, with the lady chef coming out to each table to check the food was OK and a friendly relaxed atmosphere. Good sized portions and very reasonably priced I would strongly recommend Brooks.

   This restaurant is excellent. The food is full of flavour and genuinely very good; they must have a talented team in the kitchen. The atmosphere is also great. The staff are very attentive, providing fantastic service, and the owner/manager was lovely. I can't think of anything I would change. We had a very pleasant evening, thank you.

   Lovely lunch with a difference, the small plates and shared platters allow you to sample lots of zingy dishes. Welcoming and knowledgeable front of house staff. Good wine list, recommend the viognier.
