   Myself and my wife shared a set meal, everything from the soup to the mains was absolutely delicious. The crispy duck was so meaty I think we may have been given two by mistake. The Tibetan Lamb is a personal favourite and is included in the set meal, ny wife’s Cantonese steak was tender and delicious. In addition to the food the welcome was superb and friendly, the only small issue was instantly and effectively corrected and was so minor isn’t worth mentioning!

   Went here this evening and would avoid at all costs. The food was completely tasteless and shockingly overpriced—more expensive than anywhere I’ve eaten in central Manchester, and absolutely not worth it. The atmosphere was even worse. While trying to eat, I felt uncomfortably watched the entire time, as if the owner and the barman were staring over and listening to our conversation. It made the whole experience tense and unpleasant. We ended up leaving around 80% of the food untouched, and still paid £100 for two people. Based on my experience, I honestly think this place has had its time and should consider closing down. Definitely avoid.

   Lovely hospitality at the Maple Tree in Marple Bridge. The food was the best Chinese food I've had in a long time. Sonny also went above and beyond for my fiance's birthday, even though we hadn't told staff in advance that we were celebrating! We had a lovely evening.

   We’ve been ordering take away from Maple Tree for many years. It’s the highest quality Chinese food in the wider area. We do try other places from time to time but keep returning here because it’s best. Sunny himself is an endearing person with high standards. The amazing thing is that the food quality is very consistent even over many years - the amount of crisp on the chilli beef and the sweet sour balance in the duck is near on identical year to year the way we like it. We are very happy customers. There are cheaper options but we find it’s true that you do get what you pay for. I hope it stays this way for many more years to come.

   First time here and certainly won’t be the last, minced chicken with lettuce wraps and salt & pepper prawn were the most savoury light delectable starters with duck, rice and the star of the show, steamed whole sea bass for main. My oh my best sea bass I have ever eaten, moist, fell off the bone, intensely savoury liquor, no extra thickeners. Just wow. And Sunny. Sunny sunny sunny. You were the highlight of the evening. Please visit this place you won’t regret it, we will definately be back, same again please ❤️

   We had an early evening meal booked on christmas eve, The drinks came and then we waited and waited to order our food. There were 2 set menus one £40 and the other £45. No coffees on the menu. We ordered our choices and the first course came, this was lovely, the 2nd course arrived that too was delicious, the main course arrived for 4 of us but not the 5th person. The rest were half way through their meals before we could speak to anyone about the missing meal. We asked sunni where the meal was. He argued that there was only one portion of the meal ordered,. After a little confrontation the 5th ,meal finally arrived when the rest of the party had almost finished their meal. The waiting on staff were clueless. When clearing away the 2nd course one of the girls dropped a dirty plate on one of the diners knee leaving some of the left overs of spare ribs on their knee. I know accidents happen but more care required. We have been many times and had some really good meals there but never again. Firstly why argue that a meal was not ordered when it obviously was. Could he not see that only 4 of us were eating? . The customer is always right. Not at the Maple Tree obviously. I know it was christmas eve but there was not £40 worth of food on our table. We had with us relatives from Canada visiting us for christmas. They were really disappointed at the service and the argument over a late meal. It was embarrassing for us after we told them we had been to the place before and how good it was. Very disappointing all round. We will not be going back.

   The best chinese restaurant I've been to. The food was lovely, the portions were quite huge, which I really enjoyed after a long hike! The owner and the stuff are such a lovely people. Definitely I'm gonna be back there one day!
