What a great place, I popped in last night and had chips and a home made cheese and onion pie. I will be back soon this was the best cheese and onion pie I have ever had.

Definitely the perfect place to grab lunch with a view! At just £2.20 for a very generous chip butty as I know it (listed as a Chip Bap), my visit to New Mills was completed by a superb, freshly fried lunch from the Master Fryer. When I return to the town, I will definitely be making a stop at this excellent chip shop that does all sorts, but crucially, has the basics absolutely sorted.
Wow! First time I’ve ever been and will definitely be back The dine in area is clean and spacious, and the staff were lovely and helpful I had fish and chips and it was the tastiest meal I’ve had dining out in a long time! Fair pricing and top quality food, if you’re out doing the millennium walk or just fancy a ‘chippy tea’ this is the place to go!
Price list is not upto date inside chippy, very misleading. He has a leaflet on counter with correct prices Chips seemed like they came out of a freezer packet. Definately not freshly cut from potatoes
We called into the Very Friendly Fish and Chip Shop today and I must say we were all impressed. 2 of us had The Fish, Chips, Mushy Peas and Curry Sauce. All cooked to perfection and not anaemic cooked Chips and the Fish had a golden crispy batter. The other person in our party ordered the Steak Pudding and said it was delicious. The owner who served us was very friendly. We are pleased we popped in and had some delicious Food and would recommended to others.
Had fish and chips today. The owner recommended Coley. I've never been a big fan of Coley, but I took the owners advice. I'm so glad I did. It was delicious,as were the chips. We had a great chat, as I have been in the same business running an award winning chippy in Penrith Very friendly , very clean . I would highly recommend
We have frequented this amazing chippy a number of times now. Always receiving a warm and friendly reception. The establishment is very clean. This is not your average chippy. The care and time spent on the sourcing, food preparation and delivery, really shows the owner takes pride in his chippy. This is the best chippy for miles. Well worth a visit. Quality fish cooked prefectly in a light batter and double cooked chips make for an outstanding chippy meal.
