Really nice local independent food in a small intimate restaurant setting. Chef was friendly and came around to check on everyone, waiting staff were really good and easy going. Really reasonable prices too, especially in the age of 2025 where priced have soared everywhere it seems. Meatball starter was fantastic especially.

We visited here on a Friday night, on the off-chance that a table would be available, and it was! Well, we hadn't done any prep, just stopped by on our way past, and we certainly fell on our feet! The food was amazing and generous portion sizes too. The calamari was lovely and even the batter was obviously made in house. The bruschetta was super garlicky, but everything was so fresh! The mains also did not disappoint. Everything tasted fresh and made in house. My husband, despite being lactose intolerant, managed to find starters and mains that he could happily eat. The only reason for dropping a star for the service, was over attentive staff! The two young ladies who served us were both very pleasant, but we were asked at least 6 times during the 2 courses, how our food was. Attentive staff is a good thing, but it was getting a little ridiculous! Anyway, don't let it stop you from visiting, because it's a little treasure in a nice setting.

Wonderful restaurant. Great arancini. The best part was the carbonara: The best carbona I have had in ages - real Italian carbonara with guanciale, egg yolk and cheese. Tiramisu was also amazingly done. Great service and will absolutely come back.

Visited Cocos last night with my husband. All I can say is fantastic from start to finish. Atmosphere was lovely, staff were amazing who couldn’t do more for us. The chef greeted us which was a lovely personal experience. And the food delicious. Will definitely be going back again. You’ll need to book though.

Had an amazing meal here with two friends who both also loved their food. Owner and chef Massimo was amazing; he came out to update us when our food was nearly ready. Everything tasted fresh and was clearly well prepared. The wine we had was lovely too xx

Well, we had a strange experience. Firstly our starters came out with the waiters hair in the food, unsure if this was from his head top or copious arm hair. Secondly, when our mains came out, two of five meals were wrong and had to wait for the chefs to cook new meals. Even after clarification twice, the meals were still wrong! Thirdly in the time it took for the replacement order came out, the owner had made one of our party very uncomfortable by invading her personal space insufferably! He then insisted SHE had a large glass of complimentary wine, and begrudgingly offered a small glass to everyone else, other than the one person who received the wrong order and was still waiting for his food! All in all, the meal was late and the owner made us uncomfortable when he wasn't, bumping into other tables, drinking wine behind the bar, or correcting our Italian. If were hungry travellers, on the brink of starvation, an inch from death, crawling on bloody stumps, WE WOULD CRAWL ONWARDS! Wouldn't recommend...

Atmosphere good In restaurant and the food was okay, but didn’t make up for there being a long hair in the starter and the over baring uncomfortable drunk owner constantly leaning over and really invading personal space. 2 of the main food orders where wrong due to the owner not writing the order down correctly and then coming to clarify but then still the order was wrong. All of these issues were attempted to be mended by supplying cheap white wine which I was told “I had probably never drunk before”. In conclusion the food was okay but didn’t mask the lacklustre and un polished experience the restaurant offers. The food should be light refreshing and tasteful but alas it was heavy lacking real depth of flavour and had uninspiring and messy presentation.

Fantastic little italian restaurant with superb host and waiting staff. The head chef is a close personal friend but bias aside the food was incredible. My partner wasn't too sure on pronounciation and was not met with sneering but with helpful correct pronounciation from the Owner, who offered nothing but the best service throughout the night. Only open Thursday - Sunday. Catch them at the right time!
