We are pleased to have found The Crispy Cod. New to the area after a forced stay due to low water levels on the canal. Think I can honestly say this is the best fish & Chips I have had. Cooked fresh, really good price and the staff really friendly and efficient. Will recommend to other friends who may be passing by. Thank you to all the staff.
I been to this chippy yesterday as my 1st time visiting New Mills near Manchester and there chips and gravy was lovely and I will come here again
Had our annual visit to New Mills for the bonfire but mainly for this chippy! Lovely service, great food. Just what you need on a cold night. Always busy but worth the wait
Amazing fish and chips and peas, batter crispy generous portion, great value queues out the door good banter. Best fish and chips in New Mills have been here few times. Can't wait till our next trip to Derbyshire. Keep up the excellent service and food.

Alright, so consistent, absolute beautiful piece of fish, batter fresh, cooked to perfection. I've come here for years and best fish and chips from Hastings to Aberdeen. Luv you guys
Wow, the best “chippy” for miles and miles around always 1st class. The fish is always amazing and a medium chips serves 3, on my picture I only have less than a quarter than they gave us as my fish was that big! Friendly service, this place will not disappoint.
Probably the best chippy around. Consistent quality every time. Portion size fantastic. Bought in a smaller fish for the budget conscious as fish prices have gone up. The staff are so friendly.
