Food is fabulous we had the platter for 2, couldn’t finish it, you can ask for a take out box and take home if you wish. Kids loved it especially the ice cream and the toppings. Cinema room is brilliant, however bigger kids messing around in there spoilt it for the younger ones, maybe needs to be staffed a bit better but it was a busy period.
Been here a couple of times now, love me a “Texas BBQ” style restaurant. The food was phenomenal. I recommend the brisket, it was fantastic. The whole experience is amazing, they got little popcorn bags, they even got a little cinema for little kids within the restaurant. The atmosphere screams TEXAS in the best way possible. The staff is fantastic, very friendly and professional, and they even have blankets and heat lamps for outside areas. 100% recommend.
Service and food were amazing. Restaurant is on the pricier side however, the food is fresh and up to very good quality so is worth it. We had the sharing platter ( £70 ) but that’s more than enough for 2 people and you get to try a bit of everything as there’s so much choice. We tried the marshmallow sharer for desert which was nothing special but was a bit of a unique desert and something different to usual. Would definitely recommend if in the area or even travelling as they’re chains of these everywhere. Big car park in the back of property.
I don’t usually go into so much detail when leaving reviews, but Hickory’s Smokehouse truly deserves it. The pulled pork here is on another level honestly, the best I’ve ever had in my life. Perfectly tender, smoky, and packed with rich flavor, it left me speechless. Every bite showed the care and passion that goes into their cooking. The sides were just as impressive from the creamy, refreshing slaw to the rich pit beans and those loaded fries that hit all the right notes with cheese, jalapeños, and just the right amount of heat. Everything came together beautifully, creating a meal that was both hearty and unforgettable. Add in the welcoming atmosphere and friendly service, and Hickory’s Smokehouse easily stands out as one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. If you love BBQ, this place is a must.
We went here for a birthday meal, and had a fantastic time. Service was spot on, and all our meals were delicious. As it was really hot weather we sat outside to have our meals. Great place & we'll definitely be back soon.
Great food and friendly staff. Was busy on new years day yet food and drinks were fast and service was excellent. Kids love the cinema room and popcorn. An enjoyable experience for all. Highly recommended
When you first walk in you are greeted by a member of staff and supposedly allocated to your table however this was not the case. Despite reserving a table and arriving on time a table was not available upon arrival and we were forced to go to a bar and wait there for extra 15-20 minutes. This was quite unpleasant as many people were watching football shouting in that area. After we sat down we were introduced to our waiter and were given complimentary water and sweet popcorn. The food we ordered the platter and Mac and cheese and it was delivered fast as expected with this type of food. The meat was well seasoned and was coming easily off the bone however the Mac and cheese had a weird sour after taste which was not so good. Overall good atmosphere and good food but the reason for 3 stars is the forced tip which is already included in your bill.- yes you can ask the staff to take it off but it is a disgusting gesture especially in a country where fair wage is being given. Not good.
Fantastic food, smokehouse pulled pork & beans witha side of mac cheese was fabulous. Good kids menu as well and great desserts. Drinks menu has good variety - can definitely recommend grape soda! Service was friendly and efficient.
When you walk in this place it feels like you step straight in to America. This place is amazing and the staff add to that experience as well. The food we had was all delicious I can’t fault any of it, from the fried chicken basket to the Texas brisket. Would recommend this to anyone thinking of something different and extremely tasty food. Served by Will he was great and a good guy.
