Well stocked at lunch time. Get there early as queue gets busy. Food is always good in every brand. Plenty of seating inside. Service was really good.
easy to grab meals that are all ready to go! i’ve finally tried their katsu curry rice. usually grab their sushi but this one was also nice. quite cheap but tastes nice. ps: if you’re a student, there’s a discount. edit: came another time. still good.
Everything looks great, food taste also good, but I had food poisoning immediately after eating their chicken katsu curry which knocked me down, made me vomit and sweat with cold sweat. I might have been unlucky, but that experience scared me since I was ready to call ambulance if not had help of my colleagues in the office
Staff are very lovely. Food is well priced if you’re taking out- you can get a pretty decently sized sushi platter for £6-8, which costs £10-12 if eaten inside. There’s a good amount of seating available outside of rush hours. The salmon dragon roll is really nice. Not sure what the soy sauce and condiments situation is like; the food didn’t come with it nor could I see it on shelves anywhere.
It’s true I agree with the lady who complained about the assistant manager.she is toxic and very rude.. She shouldn’t be working there.. I asked for Katsu with rice and no sauce to be made. They always lovingly do it but when she was there she refused and in the rudest way. I always avoid her at the tills. She has anger issues and shouldn’t be there. Please get rid of her..
The female 'assistant manager' (blondish hair in a plait with glasses), was literally one of the most; hostile, unpleasant and unprofessional individuals I have come across for an extremely long time. Toxic is the understatement! I've always been a huge fan of Wasabi, and will continue to go to my three regular stores (where I go 3-4 times a week), all of whom have pleasant, friendly, professional and delightful staff. I will however, never step foot in this store again, where this staff member thinks it's ok to; belittle, bully and take out her personal frustrations on an innocent, polite customer! Awful experience, only go there if you too want to be humiliated by this worker!
Still a great choice for lunch, although I've seen the quality and portion sizes steadily decrease, whilst prices have increased - it's just not the same as when boxes were served fresh.
2014 they introduced the smaller containers with the high bottom and the high profile so it looks like it is bigger than normal. Now, after refreshing the store, the food is pre-packed, all of it. Now portion is 2 times less than before. Thats a deal breaker for me. Can’t stand being tricked like that for the same £5.95.
