    We held our wedding reception here on the 28th October 2025. Everything really exceeded my expectations. The restaurant had been laid out beautifully and the food was served to the tables still hot, and was so nice. All our guests were delighted. Megan must be commended on her work ethics and commitment, nothing is too much trouble and she looked after us so well before and on the day. Would I recommend the Astley? Without a doubt.     Was here with family for a wake. Lovely pub! Staff are friendly and so nice. The layout is great and pram friendly. Checked the menu and prices are fair. If we lived closer, we would definitely come again to try the food out

    Called in today and had a really gorgeous meal...Pie of the Day was Cheese and Onion which was excellent.I was too full for desert but my Husband had apple crumble and custard which again was fantastic...Very pleasant lady on the bar..Will be calling again.
