Food: Absolutely love Japanese foods as it is delicious. Recommendations to have foods from or in... I would love to go there again... Thailand, Vietnamese, Indian and English foods are available as well. Service: You will have to go and pay for your own foods and drinks at the cashier downstairs at inside of this pub, but the servicer come to you for you to pay your own meals and drinks at the restaurant upstairs. Communication in English language. Atmosphere: It is nice atmosphere .

Walked in to a very busy pub on a Saturday night, so wasn’t expecting much, but you walk through to a spacious restaurant at the back of the pub. Really liked the lay out of the restaurant. A great system of ordering your food via a computer screen and the food wizzes its way to you on a race car. The food itself was gorgeous, with very good quality fish. You can see the sushi chefs prepare the food and they clearly take pride in what they’re offering. So glad to have great local sushi. The place is a lot of fun, and I’m glad I live nearby. Will definitely be returning with the whole family as the kids will love it.

Didn't expect this to be on top of a pub, but certainly a nice find. The food is way better than some sushi place you find in central London, fresh, delicious and affordable. Not to mention the portion is fairly large as well. Give this place a go!

Tried out this sushi restaurant with touchscreen tablet for ordering from table and clever conveyor belt delivering of food order. Really glad to find this restaurant for a wide range of Japanese cuisine dishes, very fresh and tasty. A meal was about

Had a really nice dinner there. I was told they had a nice selection of Japanese or Thai food. I was not disappointed with the menu, the diversity offered including for those with a palate that cannot take too much heat. The service was great despite how busy it was. A mechanised wagon brings you your food at your table. It's really fun! You simply add more food to your order and soon enough it turns up on the rail next to you! Also, it's located just above a pub, so the atmosphere blends quite well with the pub downstairs when you are done with your food. Definitely a place I would go back to.

Authentic taste of sushi. Very nice. You can also order Thai dishes. But, Sushi is far better than their Thai.

Was a little confused on how to enter but the kind servers at the Rusty Bike advised us to just go through and walk up the stairs. Bit of an odd location as it was then past the toilets from below but I guess it makes sense to allow shared toilets. Went for Saturday lunch so I was surprised to see it empty and it was slightly worrying. Went ahead and ordered using the tablet anyway which made it super easy. Had to refer back to the menu to see which sushi contained what but food quickly arrived on the cool little conveyor style remote controlled train. All my worries were gone as soon as I tasted their sashimi - super fresh salmon! Their salmon Philadelphia roll was super value too and although looking basic, the salmon to cream cheese to rice ratio was simply perfect. The Sushi Monster roll was also very good too. Also a special mention to their green tea - although it came out of a bag, it was really good too. Perfect level of service too and the tablet really helps. Chingford is lucky to have such a wonderful sushi restaurant!

Based inside the Rusty Bike Pub - located on the first floor. There is the option to dine upstairs at their purpose built restaurant or downstairs in the pub which show all the football games. We chose to eat upstairs where the the ordering is done via iPad on the table. The beauty with this venue is the Rusty Bike (Pub) serves Thai food and Sushi Monster sell Japanese. Both are interchangeable, so if you want Sushi to start and a Thai Green Curry for mains the option is available. The service was excellent, the food came quickly and the portions were large and the taste was as good as any Thai or Japanese restaurant I have visited locally. Definitely, worth visiting.

We have ordered from Sushi Monster and dined there over 20 times now and almost the same dishes every time. However, we are extremely disappointed with their food quality tonight which was shockingly awful! The 2 Gyn Don (beef) we ordered, one of them was standard portion but the other one was significantly less than normal. The Soft Shell Crab Tempura was like scraps this time, very tiny and dry (see photo) unlike the previous ones we ordered which were fresh and chunky. Maybe they have changed the chef recently? Nevertheless, we are very disappointed with their food quality on this occasion. I hope they will take my feedback seriously and won't let us down again next time shall we order again.

A quiet sushi bar that has a quirky serving experience and is above a bar/pub downstairs. Very chilled atmosphere, food was served quickly and generously. The quality was great. Music choice was on point. Service (separate from the food) was immaculate and friendly. Would come here again.
