Visited couple of nights ago! Food is best food around. 5* Steak and karaii lamb biriyani is totally a steal. Lamb chops wow. Deco is cosy and waiter staff were friendly. Mocktail drink was fresh. 4* for the atmosphere as it’s a shame the town centre is a ghost town. Manager was sat at the back and greeted us in and out of the place. Thanks guys see you again.

Top class authentic food. Real hidden gem in Oldham, as probably the only place that does top end authentic curries. Otherwise you have to go out of town. Food spot on and fresh. Chef himself came out with the food and had a lovely chat with us too. It was a bit quiet but this is likely due to bad weather and ongoing construction work in the area for the new market. Highly recommend.

Just been. Nom nom nom very tasty! We had a single meat handi which was a tender lamb curry, a mixed salad, a cheese and chilli naan, and the tandoori mixed grill. All very good, there wasn't anything left on our plates. We're very full now. The Indian soundtrack was a bit erratic, it kept skipping and stopping, but the ambience was nice and plush, the food was tasty, and reasonably priced, and the bill came out really reasonable for 2 people who have eaten as much as they physically can- £38. It was so reasonable because we didn't buy drinks- they don't have an alcohol licence yet, so they let you BYOB! So we brought a few lagers, and they provided glasses. A very good evening. They do takeaway also, and cater events, and have a banqueting hall upstairs. It's a very big building the former Greaves Arms.

I went to Cafe East last week. There was a group of 6 of us and I have to say all 6 of us were very impressed! The service was exceptional. The waiters constantly made sure that we were okay and checked to see if we needed anything at all throughout our time there. The food and drinks were great. Personal favourites of mine were the Masala Chips and the Samosa Chaat. Delicious. To top our great experience there, the owner had come to us at the end and we had a lovely chat over some complimentary festive chocolates. Overall, we cannot fault our experience there. Will definitely be visiting again. :)

Been 3 times now and I've really enjoyed the food every time. Really enjoyed the mocktails but was disappointed to find out the bartender wasn't in last time to make them. Can be a little slow when busy but the staff are very attentive. Prices are very reasonable. A very wide range of food with spice levels tailored to everyone. I would highly recommend the Chicken Kakrvi to start which was like a parmesan with delicious veggies and perfectly cooked roast potatoes. For mains the biryani and the nihari were spectacular. Try the magaz if you're feeling adventurous but it's an acquired taste. Would love to try the desserts one day but the portion sizes for the previous courses are so big I don't make it that far.

Great food, huge portion sizes. Staff are really friendly. The restaurant was nice. The deco was good. There’s a separate party room called the VIP room. The kitchen staff brought out the food. I’m not sure if there’s wheelchair access into the restaurant from a different entrance however, the main entrance had steps going into it. Also there was no parking available

Visited today for a team meal and we was all blown away. The food and service is amazing!! There is no other place with this high standard in Oldham, we was all extremely impressed! The service makes you feel welcome and valued, it's a unique touch (thank you!) And the food is perfect. I personally had a mixed kebab and never ever tasted one so good! Fresh ingredients that melt in your mouth. It's totally raised the bar on what is possible. This was echoed by all of us!!
