   Absolute scammers at Ai takeaway. Purchased 3 boxes of biryani and they were hard tiny rice looked nothing like biryani so we sent them back for the kitchen manager to tell us the rice is only hard because its cold, never have i seen rice expand after its cooled down. Especially if its not been cooked properly it will remain hard, however the so called manager was adamant it will go soft once warmed up and so he persuaded my husband and sent him on his way. The rice remained dry and hard and nobody barely touched it so i complained to the worker and told him i will return the rice, he said he will get back to me in 30mins after he speaks to the manager. As expected the unprofessionals working here never got back to me until i called them back the next day. The worker sajid answered and after explaining the circumstance he told me that he will write down my name and that i can collect a replacement whenever. He then handed the phone to the kitchen manager who was extremely rude and argumentative about how his rice is always perfect and can never be hard. After two days when we went to collect the rice, the kitchen manager began to again argue and told us the worker sajid doesn’t know anything about replacement rice being collected and so purposely wasted our time and money out of spite. There is a disgusting game of disrespect and scamming being played by the kitchen manager and their workers fobbing customers off when theyr not happy with their food. If theres criticism they cant tolerate it. However theyr happy to keep taking piles of cash for their low quality food. The attitude problem they have needs to be sorted, Disgusting and unprofessional! STAY AWAY!

   Ordered food from here for daughter's mehndi and nikkah. We had so many compliments about the food, it was 5*. Just a couple of issues with the service; for one event the food arrived half an hour earlier than discussed. This meant we had to change things around so we could eat while the food was hot, not a major issue. But on the 2nd event, we were given a faulty tea canister (not sure what they're called but the big silver tea vessel) and alot of tea leaked over the worktop and floor. Not great when you're wearing your fancy clothes. And also we weren't sent dishes to serve the dessert, even though we'd paid extra to rent out the dishes. We had to use stainless steel bowls to serve the kheer. It didn't look great. Would have been nice to have been given a bit of a refund in this situation but none was offered. So all in all, amazing food, service slightly lacking

   This place has certainly become my go-to option on Uber Eats. Always some decent promotions going on with some food items on half the price. I must say I am always impressed with the packaging and quantity of food. The containers are absolutely loaded up to the brim, and the food is delicious. There are lots of options to choose from from the menu. I love the concept of 3 different gravies on a portion of rice, with each bite having a different taste to it. I have ordered about 4 times already, and I am always craving for more. Their chapatis are bang on. Can't fault much about them, to be honest. If suggestions are asked for, then perhaps they need to improve on their delivery times. Can take up to 100 minutes on a Friday. Also, might also need to hold off on the extra layer of oil added on every portion . It makes the food slightly oily and less clean. Love from barkwell lane
