We had a great visit to the Ashton restaurant today. Full marks to Caira and all the other staff who served us. Excellent service, made everything straight forward when explaining the menu and all very polite and jolly. Well recommended.
Just been here for a late lunch, food took not that long to come out but the manager or whoever was in charge was so lovely, came over to apologise for the wait, I didn’t realise we had waited, all food came at same time, fast service to be honest and at the end even gave us a discount without us even asking just because we had waited a little longer than usual. Really good place, don’t eat here ever but defo will come back as service was 10/10.
The starter (Garlic bread sharer, with Mozzerella) was VERY hot. My main, Mac n Cheese Burger, not so.
Amazing service from Ciara! And incredible interaction throughout the night. Food was lovely and good quality. Steak cooked well too. Little busy but that’s our fault for it being a Saturday night! Overall had an amazing experience and Ciara is a credit to the team
Popped in for a quick bite after the cinema. The service was quick and the food was nice. It is great that you can pay online at your table so you don't have find a waiter/waitress.
The food was really tasty and fresh I would recommend the mozzarella sticks for a starter as they are the nicest I've ever tried, pizza is great and juicy. Also the staff are very friendly and engage in conversation. It was calm and relaxed with no discomfort and I was able to enjoy a great meal with my family not the cheapest of places but you will have a great time. I noticed also that the staff were very helpful when it came to assisting a disabled person that was with another family there.
Do not go to this Frankie and Benny's. Food was really nice Manager was absolutely awful, rude and aggressive towards us when we asked to move table to a more convenient table when the whole restaurant was empty- we didn't want to sit literally touching the toilet door when it was completely empty. I had pre booked a table so there was no excuse. She allegedly said that there were people coming and that she would not have a space to put them. We were there for over 2 hours and when we left there were still dozens of empty tables. Such a shame for a rude, horrible person to ruin our experience. See photos for evidence. Shame. She (manager) also continued to talk rudely about us to other members of staff which made us feel very unwelcome and awkward. This behaviour is unprofessional, especially from a manager.
Been for breakfast this morning and tried a new item on there, the beef brisket Hash. Was totally disappointed with it, it needed at least 4 - 5 extra potato tot nuggets and for the brisket........well as you can see from the picture where was the brisket, there was barely any on there, needed I'd say for the price about 2x as much brisket. The flavour of what I did have on the other hand rather tasty, the service from the staff was quick and polite and that's the reasoning for the 3 stars, now if there was sufficient amount of food on my breakfast it would of been a 5 star review. So if you are going to order this meal don't order it if your really hungry or have a big appetite.
