Great pub, great food. Been here a few times to dine all of which were great, most recently yesterday. Staff are friendly and helpful and always accommodating. The pub area is dog friendly with a log fire warming the pub, the restaurant is in the conservatory. Not been in the beer garden but it looks very spacious. The food is slightly more expensive than other pubs however the quality of food, venue and service justify this fairly.

We recently had our wedding at the Bluebell Suite at the Joshua Bradley and words cannot even explain how amazing the day was. Alice was on hand to help us organise things through multiple meetings and endless emails from myself, even having to tweak things last minute, but nothing was too big of an ask. The bridal suite was absolutely gorgeous and a perfect space to get ready for the wedding, the ceremony room was exactly what I wanted and the reception room was amazing. It’s the perfect combination of intimate yet spacious. The food was incredible, so many of our guests were so impressed with the quality and quantity of food supplied for the wedding breakfast, and we even had leftovers to enjoy the next day! If anyone is looking for a gorgeous and affordable venue look no further, I just wish we could relive the day again. Thank you to Alice, Lottie and all of the staff here for giving us the perfect wedding! Jon & Sarah

Absolutely amazing! Haven’t been here for a while but it was nice to be back!! Had an evening meal with my sister! Was a few minutes late for the booking I made but rang up and the lady was so lovely and changed it for me! As soon as we walked it we were welcomed with a warm atmosphere and lovely staff! We were taken to our table and it was lovely! Not long after a lovely lady Rose or something like that came to take our drink order! She was an amazing waitress! She was like a friend we hadn’t seen in a long time! Starter, main, dessert and drinks were fab!! The waiting time to receive each dish was about 5-10 minutes which again amazing!!

Came here with a large group for a family birthday, a bit of a let down that they could allow 2 more chairs for 2 small children who had to play in the beer garden! But this was the only thing to let the place down, the food was excellent and pretty reasonably priced, service staff were good too. Nice outside area in good weather.

A good variety of dishes on the menu served by very helpful, friendly staff, in pleasant surroundings. Once ordered, be prepared to wait as everything is freshly cooked.

We got married here in July 2022 and would highly recommend as a wedding venue. The entire Bluebell Suite and its outdoor area has been recently decorated and it looked great on the day. We had meetings at set milestones and a dedicated contact for all queries, who then also made sure everything ran smoothly on the day and evening. The food and drink choices were clear and we could mix and match packages to suit us. The food was exceptional all day, as was the service. All in all a great combination to make it the perfect, stress-free wedding for us.

Don't live too far away but have never eaten there...I have been missing out!!. Food and service was excellent. Had the Sunday lunch sharing platter for 2...could have easily fed a family of 4...staff even boxed up our leftovers so had another roast dinner the day after. Definitely be visiting again soon

We visited so we could meet up as a family of six. My daughter drove from Sheffield and we drove from Warrington. It is a very pleasant venue and the decor is in good condition. The staff were friendly and helpful. Tables are normally booked for 2 hours but we explained, when we booked, that this was a family reunion so they extended our time. We stayed for nearly 4 hours. The food was very tasty and was well presented. As well as the usual main menu, they do a lunch menu and also have a children and young adults menu. There is plenty of parking and some disabled parking. There are steps at the front door. I did not see a disabled entrance but there may be one. Toilets are upstairs but not sure about a disabled one. We would definitely visit again when we are in the area.

It's been a month to the day since our wedding. In truth it has taken me this long to put into words how perfect our day was. But lets start with before the wedding. Elise, the events manager at the Joshua Bradley and Bluebell suite is fantastic at absolutely everything. She steered us in the right direction in terms of food and drinks package. She made sure we knew absolutely everything about how the day would run to our chosen time frames. Then the day of truth arrived. Elise coordinated the day to perfection. literally not a single hitch on our day! She was always on hand to make sure I knew what was next and to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. She even walked one of our flower girls down the isle when she got stage fright
