Turned up without booking. Wanted to try some Japanese food, never tried it and heading to Japan in a few months. Everything was really decent, the honey chicken roll is incredible. Unagi and Tuna nigiri were good, shame there was only 2 of each! Service was superb, asked for a recommendation and went for the spicy tuna roll, preferred the honey chicken but it was still superb. Ill come back next time I'm down in London!

A week day first time visit to Sanjugo, we arrived slightly earlier and were were seated down. The Menus where presented and very much like coffee table books, clear and well presented. We decided and ordered our dishes and drinks. They came out quickly and the food was fine. The only comment was that my dish Chicken Katsu Curry with Rice wasnt hot as I had wished, but it was fine. Everything else was well presented and tasty and met our expectations. I would say the food was fine, but again, London has multiple eateries that offer very much the same dishes at a similar price point. If you are in the area, them drop on in and give it a try. It is close to City of London and does a lot of the City folks as well as well as the Shoreditch Tech crowd. Enjoy, a nice eating experience.

I don’t know what the good reviews are about. I’m assuming these people haven’t had proper Japanese food before so may not be aware. But the quality was dire. We got the sashimi set, nigiri sushi set and unagi don each. The salmon was ok in the sashimi set but the other 2 were not good. Texture was rough and not smooth like a sashimi should have been. The quality was just not there. Nigiri was also quite unpalatable. I think this is because it wasn’t as fresh as it could have been. The only good thing was unagi don, of course not the best I’ve had but for the price it was ok. Also the staff don’t really say β€˜irrasshaimase’ which kind of throws you off. It’s such a small word but it sets the tone in a true Japanese restaurant. It’s more than a greeting it’s part of the whole experience which I did not receive here.

From start to finish this was an outstanding meal. The wagyu was incredibly tender and flavorful, melt in your mouth, while the Hiramasa salad was fresh and vibrant. We sampled many items from the tasting menu and every course was beautifully presented and utterly delicious. Highly recommended.

We availed of their Bottomless Brunch deal and it was simply marvellous! Food is of the utmost highest quality and not entirely what you’d expect when people say buffet. Their sashimi were very fresh and all their portions were huge! All of their staff were also very warm and attentive with one in particular - this lady named Nicole - who basically anticipated and intuited our every need. Overall, wonderful experience!!!

Good, but not great. The food was a bit expensive, but there is a lunch offer for Β£7. It was a little small and I looked for a side as I was still hungry, but there weren't any inexpensive options. Great little place and the display cabinet for the fresh seafood was mouthwatering!

This is a very nice restaurant. Excellent ambience. The beef rice is amazing. It actually has a tinge of burnt metal fragrance, which is difficult to achieve. The cook is excellent. Only negative: Portion is a bit small. The rice could be better. The lunch set is very good too. I go there almost every lunch time.

This is a great little restaurant although with VERY limited seating so book in advance! We loved all the food we had and the staff were all very polite and wore masks. A rather limited menu but delicious and fairly priced - would return for the gorgeous maki!

A feel of japan in this cosy 3 floors restaurant. Really amazing food especially their sushi options! I really loved it, we loved it! The quality of the fish was fabulous and their presentation was awesome. Love to have more next time! To order: -table service is provided no barcode is needed It is best to reserve your tables beforehand as they have 2 floors for big groups + 1 on ground floor and 4 smalls tables for 2 people on ground floor also. Tips: Weekdays are always more quieter than weekends! Suitable for all Japanese lovers !
