Litrrally had no problems and read yhe reviews and mojority of the time its the delivery drivers fault not theres. Amazing food. Amazing service and even gave generous protions.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 – A Truly Welcoming Experience at Santos, Oldham Santos in Oldham has become one of our favourite places to eat as a family. The customer service is always excellent — the staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. One of the things we really appreciate is how comfortable they make my daughter feel. She has social anxiety, yet Santos is one of the few places where she feels completely relaxed. The calm atmosphere, friendly team, and understanding approach create a space where she feels safe and happy. Another great touch is how warm and cosy the restaurant is, especially on cold days. There’s plenty of heating, so it always feels comfortable inside, which makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. The food is delicious, the service is outstanding, and the atmosphere is consistently welcoming. Highly recommended for anyone looking for good food and a warm, family-friendly environment.
Came here with my family, and honestly, it was one of the worst experiences ever. The service and food were both terrible, and things escalated to an unbelievable point — the staff were rude, verbally abused my son who has Down syndrome, and even threatened my wife when we tried to calmly resolve the issue. We simply asked for a replacement meal since the food was awful, but instead, they refused and told us we didn’t belong there. Absolutely disgraceful.
If could give no stars i would! Avoid!! My partner ordered food to my flat and the driver gave the prder to the wrong person! Rung the driver back for him to say that he had delievered the order to the right person and put phone down. I rung the takeaway and told them the situation and they agreed to make my food and redeliever but wasnt their fault they gave the food to someone else so o couldnt have a refund or gave a free meal or something for their mistake. I told them they have 30 mins to redeliever. This delievery driver is santos staff! He was rude wouldnt cone to my front door to deliever, wanted a young woman to walk to a car asking if he had my order. Upon approach he was not for giving the order because we needed a code which one was never received hence why the order was took in the first place. I told him the address and name of the order and he said it was wrong because he couldnt prenounce the surname. Finally he let me have the order when my food was cold. I cant believe how unprofessional both the staff and manager is at the place, no apology or anything saying it my fault and i have to sort it with the person that took it when i have no clue who it was. Will not be ordering again and i wouldnt recomment anyone else to either
On the way home did a late stop just before closing time.. They didn't hesitate to serve, very friendly staff and helped with the options. Genuinely the food was amazing just the way we wanted it. The flavor was on point and not over powering. The curry complemented the rest of the food, more than enough for 2 people. I will be trying this again. The place has been kept clean?, tables clean and open space. Family friendly environment.
Been going for years, best seats on Union Street to eat with family or friends. It's one of the very few takeaways in Oldham that makes the food fresh and juicy, I recommend the spicy burger meal.
The best mix grill I have had so far. The flavours are very rich and the sides are perfect. The size is huge and can easily be shared between 4-6 people. Also the staff is very friendly and the food is served quick. It is fresh and it is yum. Definitely worth trying out.
I am a regular customer and highly recommended Santos to my guest, and on Saturday around 7 pm, me and the guest went in to order some food. However, due to being busy with orders, a member of staff who knows me very well said to me, "We are not taking anymore orders" and turned us away, which I think was rude and embarrassing while I was in front of the till to place orders. I don't think I will ever order from Santos again due to their unprofessional treatment.
As a guy who has eaten many kebabs from London, I was missing the same aromatic flavours and aromas when going further north. For years I did not find a place that replicated the same taste until I accidentally walked into this restaurant to give it a try. Delicious food through and through, and gave me the biggest sense of nostalgia since Top Gun Maverick. Great place to eat!
Aboulsute treasure of a place, High quality ingredients, clean and friendly. Went today for kebah club and sat up stairs, stunning food as always the lamb cooked in a stone oven is amazing! Have attended regularly since my first visit if you haven't been santos take my recommendation and visit their food is excellent!
