   We order almost every week. The food is consistently excellent. We have never been disappointed. My wife has an allergy, they care about it and make adjustments to accommodate her needs. The staff is always helpful and kind. We are lucky to have this spot close to us.

   Ordered from the hackney branch. Very very dissapointing. Avocado is rotten in half of the sushi. Also covered up with mayo, so the customer wont see it. Mushy rice. Tuna sushi looks weird and never in my life I’ve seen such dull piece off fish in the sushi. Clearly going off. If we have food poisoning, we know which place to blame.

   Ordered takeaway and they were so helpful with my intolerances (onion and garlic) walked me through what I could eat and wrote notes for me too. Great portion sizes and so yum! Definitely recommend!

   Unfortunately the items I ordered (via deliveroo) were so bad I couldn’t eat half of them. One salmon sushi roll had a very strange, unappetizing smell to it and after eating a bite I couldn’t continue. The miso soup had a strange chemical smell as well and the spring onion in it tasted fishy. The chicken teriyaki is not how chicken teriyaki is cooked - the teriyaki sauce is worse than the western sauce sold in Sainsbury’s here. The tuna roll had oxidized tuna (brown tuna) in it that was very mushy, which means it wasn’t properly handled. Honestly I have no idea how this place can have above 4 stars. I apologize if this hurts any feelings, but this is a business with professional chefs, and I can easily cook better. I really hope you can significantly improve.

   The food was nice and the packaging and wrapping was very good. Unfortunately we took the family deal thorough Deliveroo (which is two adults and two kids meal) the kids meal were only pieces of fried chicken without rice or curry! This is not a meal!

   It’s my second time ordering from Ohba. Love this place and it’s authenticity. The sushi is always super fresh and tasty. The dumplings are delicious too. Definitely my new go to local.
