This family-run restaurant is excellent. The staff are especially attentive, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is great. I think it is one of my favourite Indian restaurants of all time. I enjoyed the Indian Chai tea to end. Very tasty. Loved it.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mumbai to London and it was an absolute delight! The ambiance was cozy and welcoming, and the staff, including the owner and his wife, were incredibly friendly and hospitable. The food was delicious and authentic, and I particularly enjoyed the momo, chicken chili, masala potato, lamb nihari, naan, and rice. Each dish brought a taste of home and really lifted my spirits, especially since I’ve been away from home for six weeks now. I highly recommend Mumbai to London to anyone in Manchester looking for a genuine and delicious Indian dining experience!
We travelled from Staffordshire to watch a show at The Co-op live arena. Left our car at park n ride and got off at tram stop right by the restaurant. We booked table ahead so that we would definitely get seated. Food was absolutely delicious, service great. We were really pleased that we had eaten here and rang the bell on leaving! We then headed back to the tram to get to the arena. We will definitely visit again if we are in the area for a show.
Great restaurant with very good prices. Authentic Indian food with distinctive flavours. Definitely not your run of the mill Indian. We had several dishes and all were exceptional. I met Lesley and Wayne there; well known Manchester foodies and apparently they are regulars! Definitely give it a try and ring the bell!
We decided to try Mumbai to London Cafe after passing it so many times and wondering why it always smelled so delicious – and I’m so glad we finally went! This small, quirky spot in Manchester has such a welcoming atmosphere and the staff are incredibly attentive and friendly. The food was absolutely amazing – fresh, full of flavour, and authentically traditional. It felt like a real hidden gem in the city. We can’t believe we waited so long to try it, and we’ll definitely be back soon! Highly recommend for anyone looking for an amazing Indian dining experience.
Visited here by one of my friends recommendations and I absolutely loved it, we had chilli chicken, lamb samosa and samosa chat for starters , they're so amazing and after that we had lamb curry, chicken Tikka and prawns , pilau rice and garlic nan for mains, we loved it, especially for lamb curry,the flavors are so amazing. I will recommend this place for sure, we came from Salford and it's worth it. Please do visit this place for authentic Indian taste. I will visit soon.
Been to Mumbai to London recently with my wife and had a brilliant experience and got to sample their delicious food. Tonight it's wet, rainy and horrible so we ordered a delivery. Absolutely top quality yet again. Food was tasty, well cooked and beautifully spiced. So happy we're able to get takeaway from here if we can't travel there
Good traditional food. Perhaps more choice in the menu would help, and it's a lot more expensive than similar places nearby
Fantastic experience. The staff are so friendly and truly do go above and beyond to meet your needs. Prices are reasonable. All food is made to order and is really fresh and tasty. The staff are always really happy to describe any dishes to you if you're not sure and provide recommendations. They always have a specials menu too so there is always something new to try. Great asset to the area and much better quality than other popular Indian cuisines in the area. Small venue with a small amount of seating but will always strive to fit you in comfortably
