Absolutely horrible. I wish there was an option to give zero star. It was a lamb namak mandi karahi that we ordered and it was full of salt. When we asked the guy said it was there standard and his attitude was like we are lying. No taste. I have tasted namak mandi karahi at lots of places and know the authentic taste but this was nowhere close rather a disgrace to namak mandi karahi. Will NOT recommend stockport road branch.

This South Asian restaurant serves delicious chapli kebab and karahi. If you're a fan of authentic flavors, Abaseen is a must-visit! The lamb karahi was cooked to perfection - rich, aromatic, and melt-in-your-mouth tender. Every bite was bursting with spices that hit just right. And don't even get me started on the chapli kebabs - packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and served piping hot! Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving true desi goodness. I’ve visited Abaseen on Stockport Road 4–5 times now, and every visit has been excellent. The food is always fresh, authentic, and halal, which makes it a great choice for families and friends. The Malai Boti is tender and creamy, the Chapli Kabab is perfectly spiced, and both the Achari Chicken Karahi and Regular Chicken Karahi are rich and full of flavor. The Kali Palao is another highlight — fragrant, comforting, and absolutely delicious. The staff are always welcoming, the service is smooth, and the portions are generous at very fair prices. Abaseen has become one of my go-to halal spots in Manchester, and it truly deserves 5 stars!

Very authentic and absolutely amazing taste. We had the namak mandi lamb karhai (Please note it comes in smallest 1kg serving size only, so we got a huge portion for takeaway later). Also had the chapli kebab which was juicy, and flavourful. Sweet lassi and Naan were both great no complaints. Service was quick and attentive

I recently visited Abaseen Hotel with friends, and we ordered their famous chicken Karahi—it truly lived up to the hype! The dish was served hot and fresh, with an aroma that instantly made our mouths water. The chicken was tender and full of flavor, and the rich, spicy gravy was the perfect balance of traditional taste and bold seasoning. We enjoyed it with fresh naan and some chilled drinks, and the combination was just perfect. The portion was generous, and we could tell it was made with care and authentic spices. The ambiance was casual and welcoming—perfect for a relaxed meal with good company.

Nothing beats their karahi cooked in ghee and chapli kebabs. They cook fresh food , you have to wait 20 to 30 mins but it's worth it. If you are not fussed about the decorations and how fancy the restaurant is, then eating from the karahi itself is even better. Reasonable price as well

Its like, wow. You can tell its real lamb, unlike other places that serve mutton disguised as lamb. Portions are huge, taste, well. Go and see. Its not possible to say in words, how amazing it is. Proper soul food

Subhan Allah, staff were so lovely as well as the food. They arranged special seats with temporary partitions to allow us enjoy foods like a family feast. Remember I'm talking about 999 Stockport road.

Had fresh lamb karahi and chicken malaie boti (boneless chicken pieces) recently and absolutely loved it. If you want to eat Chapli kebab then this is one the best places for that and peshawri masala fish on naan is another unique item that you won't find anywhere else. Service is good and staff is friendly too but I do have my concerns about hygiene. I don't find this place family friendly because of its size seating arrangement and location

Food >>> 5 stars. Rest everything is between 2-3 stars. Plates edges were broken. Glasses weren't clean. Table wasn't clean properly. Table cloth was half ripped. overpriced ofcourse!! It's a basic takeaway not a restaurant but still to me the prices were high. Food taste was really good n authentic. Though it took 48mins to get our food. Definitely try it and prefer to take away the food ... it doesn't welcome families appropriately anyways...
