came in a few weeks ago for a family birthday, it was lovely! we sat in the beer garden at the back and they had fairy lights hung up and it looked so nice and welcoming. - it is dog friendly but only if you sit outside, but if you want food you have to sit in the back beer garden, you can’t sit at the front of the restaurant, so if you bring your dog, you have to walk through the restaurant with them to get to the back

Didn't eat but enjoyed the visit.. not expensive.. nice pub. Went for cider as the draught lagers and beers are not to my taste(holts's) staff pleasant to which is always nice to see

Came in today for my nannas birthday, some of our food was really nice and others said their food was a little cold maybe the food should come out as and when it is ready to avoid this minor issue, However we was served and looked after by a lovely member of staff called Matty, he was so helpful, polite and hard working he deserves so much recognition for how well he was working under pressure. His customer service skills was spot on. He made our day thank you ☺️

The food was great. I love Italian food and it’s not often you get authentic Italian cooking at such a reasonable price.

In for the Manchester Derby. The free food at half time from the landlady was quickly snaffled, and greatfully appreciated! Bigger TVs needed and more chairs - but let's not be too picky when United win and City lose

Outside looks nothing special, inside I was really surprised was just passing and had to check it out the guy behind the bar seem friendly enough but seemed like he didn’t want to be there . Limited open times? This place would be fantastic for sports and food - get the outside looking nice and your onto something special

Limited selection of drinks on tap & in the fridge. Food choices are pretty standard for this type of place (see website), and hardly inspirational whilst being expensive. Atmosphere is generally subdued even though it's normally fairly busy. Too soulless to be a decent local, which is a shame as the area could do with one. Not one to bother with, unfortunately.

This pub has just been done up and it looks nice although a little bland. Could maybe use a few pictures on the walls or something to break it up. Doom Bar on draft and it was well kept and delicious. Barmaid was very friendly. They were just opening the restaurant the night we called but we weren't stopping so never tried the food. They have installed a large pizza oven so we will definately be back to try that. Hope it all works out.
