We came in over the weekend - a big family of us as a catch up and I can honestly say we absolutely love Aeron! He is an absolute gem! Love the food and great service as always
Found on off chance looking for food on a Monday and a place that was dog friendly. Lovely looking place, bar staff very pleasant, our server for food Ryan was very helpful and made sure we had everything to our liking. Highly recommend will definitely be going again.
Called in for a meal with very little time before an appointment. I ordered fish chips and peas and a pint of Madri my order came six minutes later although I rushed it was really tasty. The lady in charge Amy was so helpful and professional. I will be back but next time not rushing
Visited with friend at lunchtime.Good and varied choices on menu, from full meal to light lunch. Served by Josh and Aeron,friendly and did not rush us.Checked we were enjoying our food. Nicely presented. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

On the whole, very nice. We had a slight issue - I ordered a chicken BLT from the lunch menu, and given it was listed amongst other warm items, expected it to be served warm. However, the meat was not just cold, but unpleasantly so. The chicken especially was really dry, and gave the impression the sandwich had been assembled out of fridge leftovers. However, the measure of a company is how issues are dealt with and despite confirming it was intended to be served cold, they happy replaced with with a warm one, and with clearly freshly cooked chicken, which was much more as I'd assumed it would be. We really appreciated the way with this was dealt with.
The Sunday Roast has a great selection of roasts and there's always plenty of fresh veg to accompany the good serving of properly cooked meat. It's a fair price too so we can visit more often . The staff are great too , very friendly and so hard working. 10 /10.

Lovely Boxing Day meal, excellent service, polite staff, checked our pre order. Asked if we were ready to eat, never rushed us. All in all a lovely pub with lovely staff.
Mothers day meal 2022. Although selecting a meal a week in advance can be frustrating. It did relieve the ooohing and arghing at the table and speed things up, If only we could remember who order what. Lovely service with humour added which is nice when you like humour.... If your a misery then maybe not the place for you. Beautiful building, been many times over the years and for a green king pub actually well maintained (Anyone who's been to a Green King pub in London would not believe its the same company!) Food was amazing (always is) service was lovely... And ability to put up with grumpy old folks was brilliant (Dad!).
