We went to see the last of the Jet2 Boeing 757-200 aircraft leave. We stayed for lunch. Lovely atmosphere. Food was beautiful and plenty of it. Excellent service. We have been back again since and everything was just as enjoyable.

Amazing place to plane ✈️ watch. The beer garden is so close to the runway it’s hard to believe you are so close. The location is amazing, the food and service is not so good as just so busy and not enough staff. Also the car park is very limited and people were cueing to get into the car park.

What a fabulous place, especially if you're a "plane spotter"! Great food, super friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Great place to grab some food and watch the planes ✈️ coming into land, lots of out door seating available and nice views. Lovely inside with great friendly service from the staff.

Alright, here we go — buckle up, because this meal was a turbulent experience. The burger… oh, the burger. Advertised with mayo, but when it arrived? Dry as a Ryanair apology. And that chicken fillet? Absolutely tiny. I’ve seen bigger fillets in a Happy Meal. Honestly, it looked like a hobbit had deep-fried its foot and stuck it in a bun. The mozzarella sticks were stringier than my nan’s Wi-Fi, and the tater tots? Yeah, they were good — but let’s face it, tater tots are just hash browns in witness protection. And the cherry on top? Paying for parking. Because nothing says “premium dining experience” quite like forking out for the privilege of eating disappointment while planes overhead remind you that someone, somewhere, is having a better time than you. Two stars: one for the tots, one for the sauce. The rest? Should be reported to air traffic control for crimes against taste buds.

If you're looking for a place to grab a bite and a pint before your flight, the Airport Pub at Manchester Airport is worth a visit. the pub has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, with ample seating and a wide selection of drinks on offer. The food menu is varied, with plenty of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty burger, a tasty salad, or a classic British dish like fish and chips, there's something for everyone. The portions are generous and reasonably priced, especially given the location. One thing to note is that the service can be a bit slow, especially during busy periods, so it's best to allow yourself plenty of time if you're planning to eat here before your flight. That being said, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the quality of the food and drink makes it worth the wait. Overall, if you're looking for a comfortable and convenient place to grab a meal and a drink before your flight, the Airport Pub is a solid choice. It may not be the most glamorous dining experience, but it's certainly a reliable one.

Awesome food. Great waitress who served us. Cannot remember her name but she has 10 nieces and nephews she was telling us. She's was great with our 4 year old. She is a credit to the Airport Pub. When we return to fly from man we will certainly return. Great to watch the planes land. My little one and big kids loved it

We usually got to the visitors park at the other end of the runway but thought about here for a change. The car park gets filled fairly quickly. We got in and paid for our parking on the Ringgo app. We went into the garden and had a hot chocolate drink which was reasonably priced. After a few hours watching the aircraft land and take off we went for food inside. We ordered our drinks and food. Our waitress was very good and had her own little cheat sheet on her pad with the large choice of lager that they stock. That certainly helped her and me too. We had ordered a choice of starters, mains and desserts. They were hot, tasty and filling!! Overall a great place to watch planes, have a good drink and lovely food. Thanks to our waitress, to the chef and entire staff.

I think this might be my favourite pub ever, and if you have any interest in planes then you’ll love it too. From engine styled booths indoors, propeller chandeliers and plane themed drinks and food it’s great fun. But the real treat is the outdoor area. Complete with its own bar and toilets, the huge garden sits at the end of the runway and depending on the approach being used that day, has planes flying directly overhead which is a great experience. There’s a play area for younger children and everyone seemed to be having a good time when I visited. The food menu is large with something to suit everyone and the burgers are incredible. Served in good time, the portions are sizeable and represent good value for money. Staff are spot on and happy to give recommendations as well. I can’t wait to return here!
