   disappointing because I ordered 1 time before and it was perfect. I just called them to say that they forget the rice on my order 10mn before closing. The guy (welcoming and nice at the reception) told me that they are close and can’t do nothing about my issue. He seemed to completely not care. We talk about a simple portion of white rice. And I had nature naan instead of garlic. Nothing personnal just honesty and I’m a tourist and I think I was treated like that.

   I’ve been holding off on this review as I was unsure whether or not I wanted to post this, as the men that work there are very nice and welcoming! Unfortunately, the food isn’t up to par at all & almost a week later, I’m still quite pissed off that I paid for it using my hard earned money, only for it to be so disappointing. I ordered the butter chicken. This is not butter chicken. This is oil and onions. It was also really genuinely so bland! I literally threw the whole thing away. I should’ve trusted my gut instinct and not purchased food from here from when I saw the bowl of cooked chicken on the bottom shelf with no lid etc but I didn’t. I won’t be returning here again. Edit after receiving a response: I appreciate wanting in person feedback but after receiving that meal, there was no way I’d accept a fresh batch of food from yourselves.. so there was no way to truly “make things right”. Unfortunately, some people confuse flavour with spice. This food was bland, it lacked favour in general. I wasn’t wanting anything spicy, I was happy with mild food. But this dish lacked flavour. The previous review before my own also complained about this dish. As you can see, the meal is an oil bath - it was so bad that I had to put a cloth underneath so it wouldn’t seep onto the countertop. Your response almost seemed like you were blaming me & my choice of dish, which I truly don’t appreciate as I’ve been enjoying butter chicken for YEARS.

   This place has been serving Salford for over a decade, how anyone could leave a one star or complain is beyond me. This place knows how spicy I like my vindaloo or phall. They make it to your specification. I love this place, everything is freshly made, and you see the chefs making your order in front you. If you order online, but for example your order may be little late, or an item is missing they will rectify it! Not hard to pick up the phone and give them a ring, they cant rectify a problem if you dont tell them about it, they aint mind readers. So before you start being a keyboard warrior to quickly rate and write a bad review over something missing or late, pick up the phone first, ring them, explain the problem and they will resolve it. Everyone has a mobile, but if you have no credit or whatever reason you cant ring from a mobile, go back to the year 2000 and use a pay phone! Believe or not they are still about.

   Been ordering from tandoori house since I was a child, best curry house by far. Gutted when I moved to Bolton as we can’t have it as much anymore, but if I ever order a curry I’ll always drive down to Salford for it! And it’s always still piping hot by time I get home with it!

   Ordered from here on Friday and it was amazing!! The tandoori chicken was delicious and the onion bhaji was really good too. Even the chips were decent! The garlic naan was a little disappointing, not much flavour but I’ll just ask for extra garlic next time. Quick delivery considering it was peak time on a Friday evening. Good value for money. Will definitely be ordering again. Had to call up as there was an issue with Just Eat, recommend just ordering direct through the website instead.
